(A previous PROD for this page was removed [1]) Article fails WP:GNG, and Wikipedia:Notability (books). Even if the author's work is notable (her book is currently being afded too) I still don't think it meets the "historically significant" part of WP:BKCRIT. Justiyaya 07:11, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak keep: I agree with the OP's criticisms so I've made significant changes to the page in an attempt to meet WP:GNG, although it's still a very weak page. I could only find a couple of sources via a ProQuest database search of Australian and New Zealand newspapers (deeper and broader than Google); and this single source via Google, that really doesn't qualify anyway but I've included it so the community can see a 'best effort'. I won't be offended if the consensus is to delete! Cabrils (talk) 23:40, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep As seen in the books afd Austlit lists 5 articles on that book. It also lists one on her other book [2]. A search of newsbank finds more on her, that book and her work in raising awareness around anorexia, some listed below. Enough coverage. duffbeerforme (talk) 11:20, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Dargan, Felicity (30 October 2000), "A big appetite for life", Herald Sun
Pain, Kate (8 June 2000), "Revelation at death's door", Herald Sun
Cusworth, Fran (24 June 2002), "A big appetite for life", Herald Sun
Alexander, June (26 June 2002), "Hope found in the darkest hour", The Weekly Times
  • Thanks duffbeerforme. I've added those references and cleaned up the copy some more. I think the page looks respectable now and clearly passes WP:GNG. Cabrils (talk) 22:43, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
