Donkey Kong Wii[edit]
AfDs for this article:
- Donkey Kong Wii (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
It's been nominated for deletion two times now. This incarnation is a one-liner with no sources (Crystal Kong?). Raymie Humbert (TrackerTV) (receiver, archives) 20:22, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete and salt. We can have an article when there's more info (a title and release time would be nice, at the very least...) shoy (reactions) 22:04, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete and salt until this game is actually confirmed to be in development. NeoChaosX (talk, edits) 22:20, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Note: This debate has been added to the list of video game related deletions. Nifboy (talk) 02:53, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete + Salt from the history of this article. It was nominated for AfD three times and deleted all three times. MuZemike (talk) 03:04, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Note — The same user has created the same article after its deletion every time. Hence, I further recommend that some action be taken on said user. MuZemike (talk) 03:04, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- The editor has been notified about this. If the AfD closes delete, I will open an RfC into the matter. Raymie Humbert (TrackerTV) (receiver, archives) 03:53, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - I can see it being a legitimate redirect to Donkey Kong 3... — Preceding unsigned comment added by MuZemike (talk • contribs) July 22, 2008
- Delete but hold the salt - I don't know that it would need a salting if the user is informed that it is inappropriate or if other action is taken in a similar vain. Otherwise, delete as crystal. I googled the more unique terms, which only came up with Video Game BoxArt, a fan site, so I'm guessing the name is also completely untrue. --Izno (talk) 04:29, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - no firm announcements about this title have been forthcoming, despite the article being recreated multiple times. As others have said, we shouldn't use rumour or speculation as reliable sources when creting articles about possible future creative works. I'm not sure if salting will help here, as the article has already been created under variations of the same title. Gazimoff WriteRead 12:15, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete and salt - Non-notable, crystal balling. No sources that can verify this even exists, let alone provide any significant coverage. Probably needs some kind of protection to prevent this create/nominate/delete cycle from repeating itself over and over. Randomran (talk) 14:55, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete and salt as per above. Salt the Earth, otherwise we'll end up with a never ending cycle. --.:Alex:. 20:43, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete and salt. Third time's a charm, looks like. coccyx bloccyx(toccyx) 19:06, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment — This article could have been speedily deleted (G4), but it doesn't matter now. MuZemike (talk) 00:02, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
