Zero independent sources are present in the article. The article subject, a former Division II American football player, does not appear to meet WP:NGRIDIRON as a result of his being honored by the University of New Haven. He also does not appear to meet WP:BASIC based off of sources I could find via internet search, though I see some sources on a baseball player who appears to be a different individual.
