Delete - the article is borderline promotional and even if he was notable in his own right it would probably be a better idea to start over. It doesn't help that the singing competition he was a part of doesn't even have a Wikipedia article. If there was more coverage about his career after the competition maybe he could have had a separate article, but as it stands, he does not have notability outside of it.
