Contested PROD. Concern was Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league. PROD was contested on the grounds that the article says that he played 34 matches in the Romanian top flight in 2002-03. This would of course confer notability. However, the claim is unsourced and highly suspect, considering each club in the Romanian top flight only played 30 matches that season. Sir Sputnik (talk) 17:05, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - He definitely played for FC Astra Ploiești in Liga I (Divizia A) which was the top flight of a fully professional league (WP:FPL) therefore he passes both WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL. IJA (talk) 13:58, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - I can't find any evidence that Zdrîncă played for Astra in Liga I (I've searched gds.ro and gsp.ro as well as general Google searches with no luck). He's played in the second level and received routine coverage for doing so, and received more routine coverage during his stint as a goalkeeper coach abroad. I don't think there is significant coverage such that the GNG is satisfied. Jogurney (talk) 19:27, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
