Keep - a google search for "Daire O'Brien rugby RTE" brings up a bunch of good hits, such as his official profile on RTE's website. FWIW if my experience of visiting Ireland is anything to go by, Rugby League is one of the country's most popular sports and I can well believe he is a household name over there.
