The subject is a non-notable author and academic. There is no substantive RS coverage on which to build a Wikipedia article on the subject. As it stands, it's just a CV-style article. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 22:46, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - passes WP:NPROF (criterion five) outright because he holds a named chair at a major university. Additionally – and independently – he passes WP:NAUTHOR criterion one because he is "regarded as an important figure" and/or is "widely cited by peers". See this, this, this, this, this, and this, in addition to hosts of other citations available in Google Books, Google Scholar, and JSTOR. Respectfully, I harbor doubts about the adequacy of the nominator's WP:BEFORE search: the article makes a clear claim to notability, and even a brief perusal of the search engine results shows that he's a prolific and oft-cited author. • Keep as having a named chair position, clearly meeting NPROF. —Kbabej (talk) 02:57, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
