The result was redirect to Glitch#Video_game_glitches. Can't hurt to redirect. We're not short on them :) SarahStierch (talk) 01:31, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There don't appear to be any reliable sources that cover this in any real depth. There's this, but it's pretty much useless. The subject could potentially be redirected to Glitch#Platform_game_glitch, but cartridge tilting isn't really a glitch. It should probably just be deleted. Deleteas I can find no significant coverage, and barely even coverage in non-reliable sources. Mostly it's just a few forum posts and videos. —Torchiest talkedits 14:40, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]- Redirect to Glitch#Video game glitches, which seems like a decent target, and this could be search term. —Torchiest talkedits 15:27, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. Not a notable concept. In addition to source above, there seems to be a superbrief mention here (though it's offline due to Sandy atm). But nothing for GNG. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 15:12, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]- Redirect to Glitch#Video game glitches. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 19:46, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - Google News and Books found nothing relevant aside from this and this, which is surprising because Google News and Books hardly provide wikihow and forum posts. All of the available evidence shows this has only happened with Super Mario 64. A more advanced search provided this which appears to be irrelevant but I also found this which is relevant. Aside from this, additional results were only forum posts and videos. SwisterTwister talk 19:59, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge to Glitch#Platform_game_glitch and redirect Looks basically like a way to generate glitches on purpose. The few material covered in the references found so far could be put there. --Cyclopiatalk 20:43, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete WP:NEO with no RS. If there were RS, I'd be for Cyclopia's merge. czar · · 09:11, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge to "Glitch#Platform_game_glitch" - It's a well-known concept. The term "Cartridge tilting" shows 17.8k Google hits. "Cart tilt" shows 29.6k. There's a Kotaku article on it by Patricia Hernandez entitled "It’s Not A Glitch. It’s A Feature. It’s Art. It’s Beautiful." (Kotaku seems to be down at the moment though). I suspect that with some digging more sources could possibly be uncovered especially in print. The glitch section could easily accommodate a sentence or two explaining this well-known method of purposely inducing glitch behavior. -Thibbs (talk) 21:03, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - I added a brief segment about cartridge tilting to the Glitch page as part of a general cleanup of the "Video game glitches" section before I read this AfD. In light of that, I see no reason to keep the separate article. -Etherjammer (talk) 18:29, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Wouldn't a merge or at least a redirect make sense in that case?--174.93.171.10 (talk) 19:15, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't think any further action is needed on the Glitch page - hence my resistance to a merge - and I'm not sure enough people come looking for "Cartridge Tilting" to support a redirect. If I'm mistaken on that, then I'll change my vote to redirect. -Etherjammer (talk) 04:19, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
