Defunct record label with few to no releases of note (the big ones like "Whoomp! There It Is" were in association with another label). Absolutely zero sourcing found, just directories like Discogs. Prod declined because the deprodder doesn't like redlinks. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 00:04, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. I have found at least one very good source and a few others I can work with. I'm planning to improve this article to bring it to at least an acceptable level before the AfD period ends. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 01:22, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete pending that improvement, 'cos I don't see sources from search and there's nothing notable reflected in the article as it stands. Being the minor partner of three labels managing The Most Beautiful Girl In The World is not IMHO notability. Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 07:27, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as the PRODder. I don't like redlinks, apparently. In my deprodding, I noted that this is a possible merge target to its founder Al Bell, and I have no idea why the nominator prefers deletion to this outcome. If Met90 has additional sourcing, that merge may not even be necessary, but in any event, this is the wrong venue for whatever action should occur. Chubbles (talk) 11:35, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • If there is sourcing, then WP:BURDEN says that Metropolitan90 (talk · contribs) has to dig them up. The entire AFD can't hinge on the possibility that Metropolitan90 might possibly maybe find sources. And what about no links? Is that not an alternative to a redlink? • Comment. I have just added three sources to the article, and I expect to be able to improve it some more by the time this AfD closes. (The Billboard article ([1]) is the "very good" source I referred to above.) I'm not sure why there was so much skepticism from the nominator that I might be able to find sources. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 00:47, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Metropolitan90: That's not judgment on you per se. I've just been bitten by way too many AFDs that follow the same pattern: 1.) person says "Keep, I found sources." 2.) Ten other people say "keep per the person who said they found sources". 3.) AFD closed as keep. 4.) Person who found sources never adds them. 5.) Article is still a microstub five years later and everyone has forgotten all about it. Thank you for actually taking the initiative. WP:NEXIST. I, conversely, have seen AfD used far too often as a bludgeon to demand that other volunteers do a bunch of article improvement. You're welcome to take those sources and do good things with them, too, if it bothers you so. Chubbles (talk) 14:05, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
