I've prodded this with "The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline requirement nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (books) supplementary essay. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar.". It was undeleted following a request by User:Comte0 who added a reception section here. While this is a good start, I am afraid the coverage found does not meet WP:SIGCOV. Can this be rescued? A proper AfD discussion should tell. On a side note, please not this is the first album in a series (Template:Valérian and Laureline) and most of the articles about albums form this series are just plot summaries, and should likewise be reviewed. If this is kept, it should be renamed to Bad Dreams (comic) or such. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:57, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
- See Talk:Bad Dreams (Christin and Mézières comics) for my own WP:BEFORE search. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 11:47, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Comte0 Setting aside my mediocre French, copyright prevents me from seeing what's inside - I get a mostly unreadable snippet, no view, and blanked page. Can you access the soruces to confirm whether there is WP:SIGCOV coverage of the book? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:24, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry.
- [1] says: 'Initially created uniquely for this first episode, the character of Laureline proved popular with readers and so was incorporated as a permanent fixture of the series (Pomerleau 1980: 63)'
- [2]: 'Christin and Mézières' acerbically written and expressively drawn science fictionstory marked the debut of the iconic French comics characters Valerian and Laureline. Warmly received, the story led to further assignments for Christin and Mézières'
- Those are passing mentions, I'm not sure whether it counts for notability. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 19:10, 22 April 2022 (UTC)

- Comment author's BEFORE sources look plausible, but my French is really not good enough for a definitive assessment. Do we have a fr.wiki article? Jclemens (talk) 13:44, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
- Merge for the time being to List of Valérian and Laureline books. A search for the French title in e.g. Google scholar and Google books lead to a number of hits, but in a very preliminary overview with my limited grasp of French I did not see enough to warrant a stand-alone article. (What's in this?) But I do think it warrants an extension of the very short summary at the proposed target, and the reception should be preserved. I am happy to change my opinion in case someone finds more substantial sources. Daranios (talk) 07:30, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- Comment "If this is kept, it should be renamed to Bad Dreams (comic) or such. " Bad idea. We have an article called Bad Dreams (Winnick comics), that covers a 2014 miniseries. Dimadick (talk) 14:07, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- I didn't notice. Well, then Bad Dreams (Valérian and Laureline). Or even Bad Dreams (Christin and Mézières comic) (singular). The current 'comics' just grates on me every time I see this article's name :P Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:36, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- Move to draft Due to personal reasons, I won't be able to work on that article till May 6th. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 18:46, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- I fully endorse draftifying this for now. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:03, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
