A directory-like listing with almost no encyclopedically relevant prose. Does not meet WP:SOLDIER & significant RS coverage not found: link. No de.Wiki article. Topped out as a colonel; did not hold a significant command.

In summary, per the outcome of the discussion at Notability:People on notability of Knight's Cross recipients: permalink, certain recipients were deemed non notable and WP:SOLDIER has been modified accordingly: diff. The articles on these recipients were redirected to alphabetical lists. In this particular case, the article has been restored from a redirect, but no new sources have been added. Comment. Depends what level of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany he had. That might meet WP:ANYBIO #1. Although if it was the Verdienstkreuz 1. Klasse (as I assume it probably was) then it almost certainly wouldn't. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:43, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
