Lacks notability, and a lot of the Reception content is padded to give the impression of notability. I removed much of what was there that was padding, but you may look at the history to see if you feel that the removed content was valuable reception. Also lacks background info on its creation. Redirect to List of generation IV Pokémon#Arceus is the fairest thing to do. Arceus is not notable on his own right. If the game that went out makes Arceus notable, let's make it after it happens, not now when it is clearly not the case. SunDawn talk 13:30, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for the ping. I restored the article because I feel there should always be discussion before an article is turned into a redirect, however, I should have left the notability tag up as I'm not too fussed whether this is kept or not. After all, it is already covered by Bulbapedia. Having played Pokemon in the past this is one of the few names I remember, this was the reason for removing the tag. I'll stay neutral here. Weak Keep per (Oinkers42). The CBR ones aren't very helpful to demonstrate notability, but the NME and Polygon are both reliable sources and their coverage, when analyzed in conjunction with existing cited sources, scrapes the threshold of WP:GNG for me. Merge to List of generation IV Pokémon#Arceus.
