The result was keep. Most commenters believe there are adequate sources to pass WP:GNG, and I see no reason to disagree, the most recent comment notwithstanding. RL0919 (talk) 04:22, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The business enterprise is trivial, and the awards are promotional , and do not show notability . An MBE is the lowest level, there is no limit to the number awarded, and is not considered at WP as a significant honour. • Keep per the significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources.

There is sufficient coverage in reliable sources to allow Alex Depledge to pass Wikipedia:Notability#General notability guideline, which requires "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject".

  • Comment' People tellingtheir own life stories from their own POV do not show notability ; it's publicity, even if a major newspaper chooses to publish it. (Yes, I am saying that we have tto look at the content , not the name of the publication). The Independent story in particular is a PR job in the most classic of senses. If it shows notability , it's the notability of her PR firm in getting it placed. DGG ( talk ) 01:26, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
