  • Keep. Occupy Central with Love and Peace is one of the recent main democratic campaigns in Hong Kong, and Mr. Chow is one of the leaders of the movement. I understand that the article sources need to be improved further, but this article shall be reserved. If this article is removed, can other leader articles also be removed? That's the point. Ckh3111 (talk) 07:26, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is not a "Who's who" per WP:NOTNEWS. Chow is just a spokesman for a student organization HKFS, and he's in the news only in the ongoing event of Hong Kong protest. STSC (talk) 08:06, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If your view is true, can other articles be also deleted? Why is just this article? Ckh3111 (talk) 09:07, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
All articles are subject to Wiki policies and guidelines; we don't discuss other articles here. STSC (talk) 09:20, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Every person can even be famous for only one event. You said an article cannot be established for "notable only for one event" is not reasonable. Ckh3111 (talk) 11:01, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't matter how many times Chow has got mentioned in the news, he just became "notable" due to one event, i.e., the 2014 Hong Kong protests. Please note that the "event" does not mean "occasion". STSC (talk) 06:11, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - Individual with a very high degree of coverage for his role in the protests. Does not meet criteria #3 of WP:BLP1E because the event was significant and the subject took an integral role in the event (the talks with senior politicians). The article is rather short (it is less than a month old) but it is well-sourced and is not a pseudo-biography. Citobun (talk) 01:22, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Chow has received some news coverage during the protests only because he serves as the spokesman for HKFS which certainly does not represent the majority of the protesters; apart from that he is not notable for anything in his life. As WP:PSEUDO points out: "A person who is notable only for one event does not merit a full biography under their name". STSC (talk) 08:17, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - He is clearly not a person who is only notable for one event. In addition to his leading role in the Umbrella Movement in September 2014, he also organized a prelude to the Occupy Central Movement with Scholarism in July 2014, where he was interviewed by BBC. The Umbrella Movement and the prelude to the Occpuy Central Movement are two separate events he is notable of. --Dps04 (talk) 06:47, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Those were occasions related to one big event of Occupy Central protest. STSC (talk) 14:06, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - Key public figure, internationally renowned zzz (talk) 23:32, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
