Weird claim about the band being Swedish, coming from Zwolle, which is in the Netherlands. Can't figure out if this is a hoax or not. Sourcing is unconvincing. Not convinced the article meets WP:BAND. Mduvekot (talk) 13:36, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I created the page. I accidentally said the band is from Zwolle, Sweden. That is incorrect, you are right. Zwolle is in the Netherlands. I have fixed this.

The band 16 Down meets the following criteria of WP:BAND.

#2 - The band has had 2 albums and 3 singles appear on the national music charts of The Netherlands.[1]
#5 - Two of the band's albums were released on the indie label Dino Music, which existed for 27 years and also released music from the following notable performers: Latoya Jackson, Technotronic, Jive Bunny And The Mastermixers, Engelbert Humperdinck, Anouk, Opus among others.[2]
#9 - The band won a major music competition, resulting in an Essent Award.[3]

I assure you the article is not a hoax, the band exists (despite being on an indefinite hiatus), and has been seen & heard by at least tens of thousands of people, if not hundreds of thousands. Weak keep: certainly not a hoax band, but with only minor chart placings in their home country this article really needs to find some good sourcing from other places, or else I wouldn't be surprised to see it put up for deletion again. Richard3120 (talk) 20:22, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
