Lesson: Getting started

The following lesson plan describes a basic introduction to a total newcomer, going from an introduction to the size and scope of Wikipedia and its community to account creation to the bare basics of making edits.

It is not intended as a literal step-by-step guide, instead it offers an outline by example, and should be tailored to suit the individual students.

Duration: Approx. 30 - 60 minutes
