02:15:11, 28 September 2020 review of draft by Oldschoolfamilee123[edit]

Oldschoolfamilee123 (talk) 02:15, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I’ve made a draft for an article. But I’m not sure how to submit the draft for review and hopefully to then be published

I submitted the draft for you. It will go into the queue to be reviewed. Spicy (talk) 02:44, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Chotich00123 You don't ask a question, but your draft was rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. 331dot (talk) 08:58, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This draft is notable as a reference are from Google Scholar. References in the draft are credible. Please re-review the draft carefully.

Fikry Muraza Your draft was rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about someone and what they do; Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about someone, showing how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. Please see Your First Article for more information. 331dot (talk) 09:28, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

10:45:23, 28 September 2020 review of submission by Sagalamo[edit]

Hello, I would love some assistance on how to edit this page with better sourcing to get it approved as I am unsure why it was rejected. I provided all the correct links and sources available for the subject. Thanks!

Sagalamo (talk) 10:45, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sagalamo, For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, and is in WP:RS, and is significant coverage. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact cited, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this draft a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the person is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.
You also need to read WP:MUSIC first to determine is Salieu is likeky to pass the criteria. Fiddle Faddle 10:47, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Which part of " The draft will not be published (or even reviewed again) without references to reliable sources" are you not understanding? Theroadislong (talk) 15:02, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Concrete Software

First I'd like to disclose (as I wrote on my profile) I am being paid by Concrete Software to try and publish our company page. I am their Office Administrator. Does that automatically disqualify me from trying to publish the page due to COI?

@Kinman1996: Having a COI does not automatically prevent you from promoting the draft to a live article, howewer, you usally need to work extra hard to comply with Wikipedias Content Policies. As currently written, the draft currently doesn't indicate how the subject meets WP:NCORP. Victor Schmidt mobil (talk) 06:10, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

18:11:15, 28 September 2020 review of draft by Shorts396[edit]

I created a new Wikipedia article that was declined and I am unsure how to edit to make sure that it will be approved. Shorts396 (talk) 18:11, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's always best for a new user to start with small edits instead of trying to create a whole article without any experience of editing. Please read the guidelines on advertising and also the guidelines on conflicts of interest. Deb (talk) 15:52, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

18:53:38, 28 September 2020 review of submission by Ellenfrancisosh[edit]

Many of the Anglican religious orders have Wikipedia pages, and as far as I can tell they have citied similar references to the ones I have submitted. You can see a list of these orders at the bottom of the page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglican_religious_order

I would be grateful for assistance with approval of the page for the Order of Saint Helena. Thank you!

Ellenfrancisosh (talk) 18:53, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ellenfrancisosh. I've asked the reviewer who declined it to clarify their reasoning. Meanwhile, something you could do to improve the draft would be to make more extensive use of inline citations. You have used several, so you clearly understand the technique. But for much of the content, the reader can tell only that it came from somewhere in one of the five books listed as general references, which makes it difficult to verify. --Worldbruce (talk) 12:49, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
