That was a misunderstanding. The 2001.4BA0.* IP was not Strangesad, but User:Wikinger, playing is usual impersonation games. Fut.Perf. ☼ 20:37, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

With this edit they have tagged themselves as a sock of Wikinger, and according to the LTA report such self-tagging is part of his MO. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 12:11, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just noted that the edit happened at someone else's userpage, but with a very similar username. That LTA also mentions having socks playing with each other, and these edits are almost identical. TARIQVE and TARIQUE may be the same user, and the account creation date of TARIQUE suggest that sleepers may be involved.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 12:18, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not familiar with this master but I recognised the name and checked the LTA-page, and found that in addition to having a similar name this brand new account also shares an interest in Greek letters and Poland with the sock master, which seems like having too much in common to be a mere coincidence... - Tom | Thomas.W talk 17:12, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Is Brian K Horton a sockpuppet of Wikinger on not? If he isn't, he shouldn't be listed as one, as he is above. If he is, the two cases should be merged to the oldest. --Guy Macon (talk) 19:03, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Words derived from "viking" describe vikings in many languages – викингер might well just be a transliteration of the German Wikinger (and the Russian infinitive, викинг, is very close to it as well). I don't see any other Wikinger-like behaviour here; closing without action. --Blablubbs|talk 19:58, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
