Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Common interest in Michigan politics and Elissa Slotkin. Similar disruption at the Slotkin article. Both accounts created around the same time, to the same break at editing last summer. A bit more, but it's WP:BEANS so feel free to email if you didn't pick up on it. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:27, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Inconclusive due to proxy use by the suspected sock. They do have very similar UAs that are relatively uncommon, for what that's worth. GeneralNotability (talk) 22:42, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's enough for me to block. Thanks. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:46, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's tagged already, so I say we're done here. Closing case. Courcelles (talk) 21:04, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

IP confessed and NelsonMandelaBarnes I blocked on behavioral evidence. Just doing the paperwork to start keeping track because I feel like this is going to pop up again. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 01:43, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Article is already protected due to this editor's editing and they've returned to the talk page before to advocate for their edits. This new account immediately returned to Talk:Elissa Slotkin to argue for inclusion of same content as previously baned users (and IPs 128.194.2.95 & 165.91.13.36 which were blocked by admin: Drmies). Dcpoliticaljunkie (talk) 14:49, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also typos like here "offinial results speccial" are reminiscent of this editor's prior edits. Dcpoliticaljunkie (talk) 14:56, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I beliebe the SPI will prove my innocence but your points do not stand either.
1:The previously banned (not "baned",you have the similar typo) account's edit is here:https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Elissa_Slotkin&diff=prev&oldid=1207522989 which argues on the BuildBackBetter and her moving out of the district part. nothing about the UAW strike, so the first point do not stand.
2, As I pointed above, you have produced similar typo as the blocked account. By your theory you are also suspect to sockpuppet check. And the "typo" you pointed out are naming of the links, not the content, and the link in fact can be named by whoever provides link so it may not even count as "typo"
Anyway, I think everything should be decided by SPI and before we get any conclusion it is not proper to delete things based on your one sided claim like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2024_United_States_Senate_election_in_Michigan&diff=prev&oldid=1212377127 Subwaybsub (talk) 15:51, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ponyo, do you mind having a look? This seems pretty convincing but I've removed some trivia (what I consider trivia) from that article, and perhaps the request on Talk:Elissa Slotkin is on similar material. Thanks! (There's cookies in it for you.) (No there aren't, I'm kidding--shipping to your part of the world is prohibitive.) Drmies (talk) 16:11, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Drmies: A lot of data is stale, but picking through the logs and discounting proxy use, the location matches up with Thespeedoflightneverchanges. So... Likely? -- Ponyobons mots 21:08, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Behavioral evidence combined with the Likely result is conclusive.  Blocked and tagged. Closing. The WordsmithTalk to me 19:28, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Same pattern as priors. With the primary Elissa Slotkin page is extended autoconfirmed protected, arguing on talk page for same type of edits as the prior accounts. Seems like a resurrected old account that was previously used just for vandalism (see user's talk page). Dcpoliticaljunkie (talk) 14:40, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is incredibly spurious unless you're alleging that thespeedoflightneverchanges either had personas premade or is otherwise taking over accounts. Seamusfleming92 has a personal description on their userpage and does not share the linguistic similarities of the above. andrew.robbins (talk) 17:40, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • no Closing without action. The behavioral evidence strongly suggests these are two very different people. The WordsmithTalk to me 19:35, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
