Suspected sockpuppets

Brief background: David Bain is a New Zealander wrongly convicted of murdering his parents and three siblings in 1995. After appeals in NZ, the case went to the Privy Council in Britain which found there had been a miscarriage of justice. Bain was released after 13 years in prison, retried and found not guilty.

I started editing on 14 Nov 2015. My editing history is here. I added the word 'wrongly' (before the word 'convicted') in this edit on 14 Nov. 'Wrongfully' is the legal term used by the New Zealand government to describe David Bain's case - see here.

Farmer 56's editing history is here. He removed the word 'wrongly' in his very first edit on 29 Nov 2015. I reinserted it on 6 Dec.

Serendipity33 also started editing the David Bain page on 29 November, the same day that Farmer56 deleted 'wrongly'. Here is his editing history. Serendipity33 removed 'wrongly' on 8 Dec. After I made this post on the Talk page that Serendipity33 had added material in breach of WP:COPYVIO and was pushing a particular POV, and after I explained on 10 Dec that 'wrongfully convicted' is the correct legal term and provided citations to back it up, Serendipity33 stopped editing.

But one day later, 11 Dec, NZGreygoose appeared and started editing for the first time. He also removed the word 'wrongly' and justified doing so on exactly the same grounds as Serendipity33 - that the word 'wrongly' is not neutral. Same edit, same justification, same time (one day later) = same person.

NZGreygoose goes on to make numerous edits which support the contention that David Bain is still guilty of the murders - here (addition of link to Counterspin which is a website promoting dubious myths about David Bain which have been proved untrue in court), here (more inaccurate info about Counterspin), here (removal of word 'reliable' describing witnesses supporting David Bain's innocence, here (addition of unreferenced and irrelevent material about a witness who threw doubt on David Bain's conviction), and here (reinsertion of the same irrelevent material after it was removed).

Mr Magoo started editing the David Bain page on 11 December, the same day as NZ Greygoose. He also makes numerous edits which support the contention that David Bain is guilty: here (addition of prosecution case at original trial in 1995 overturned 14 years later and therefore no longer relevant), here (addition of comment by the Prime Minister critical of report written by respected jurist suggesting Bain is innocent), here (addition of unreferenced material critical of David Bain), here (addition of unreferenced material critical of Justice Binnie's report suggesting David Bain is innocent), here (addition of unreferenced and irrelevant material about David Bain's sister, Laniet), here (added the same unreferenced material again after it has been removed because there was no citation), here (disabled wiki to a book by Joe Karam who helped get Bain's conviction overturned), and here (added further unreferenced and defamatory material about a witness who supported David Bain).

Mr Magoo and NZ Greygoose started editing the same day - 11 December 2015. They both started one day after Serendipity33 stopped editing. They made edits supporting each others editing: eg adding material about legal aid for Joe Karam, Greygoose here and Mr Magoo here. Their editing is not neutral. They both keep adding outdated material suggesting Bain is guilty even though the Privy Council declared his first trail a miscarriage of justice and at his second trial he was found not guilty. They strongly appear to be the same person. Turtletop (talk) 14:01, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
