Suspected sockpuppets

A clear quack of a sockpuppet here. RebeccaTheMegaAwesome (talk · contribs) is a sock of blocked user RebeccaTheAwesomeXD (talk · contribs), who was blocked for violations of WP:NEWBLPBAN. Wes Mouse | T@lk 19:46, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Note to admins the sock evader has also created a BLP article, Mishela Rapo, which goes against the BLP sanction that is imposed on the user. Wes Mouse | T@lk 19:54, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User:RebeccaTheAwesomeXD; User:RebeccaTheMegaAwesome. Also the user had requested for this article to be "undeleted", here. Wes Mouse | T@lk 09:14, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that I was about to submit additional evidence but my laptop has completely crashed and will no longer read the hard drive. I've resorted to using my android phone which is not easy. Wes Mouse | T@lk 10:16, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Bbb23: Apologies for the delay. I am still operating via mobile phone device so the provision of diffs is going to be a severe challenge. Would it be OK if I mentioned the evidence without diffs and hope that it will give people an idea of where to be looking? Wes Mouse | T@lk 14:40, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Bbb23: The issue we have here is RTA who was thought to be the original sock master, is in fact a sock evading puppet of Red plastic, through admission and confession of the individual. She even asked to have all three accounts to be deleted. Why would any person want theirs accounts deleted other than to continue socking without anyone even knowing they had socked in the past. RP12000 had edited across various Eurovision article and was blocked for disruptive behaviour. The person then evaded that block by editing the same articles via their IP address. She then created RTA a month later in order to evade the raydar of socking, and unbelievably got away with evasion until their confession after it emerged they had socked with RTMA. And now she has evaded again with a forth account (5th if you include the IP). Rebecca also has a WP:NEWBLPBAN imposed on her, and this abuse of multiple accounts is her way of evading that very ban. This socking of hers is unacceptable, uncontrollable, and being done in a deceitful manner. The only lying she is doing is the purposely evading blocks by creating new accounts and demanding all of her other indef blocked accounts to be deleted so that she can lie to the wider admin community and get away with violating BLP sanctions. All this behaviour from her is only going to create subsequent SPI reports in the future and potentially having to take this to ArbCom for an outright block on her ever being allowed to create a new account. Proven a little over a year ago that the IP belongs to RebeccaTheAwesomeXD. Last block was for 1 year, and to no surprise Rebecca has waited until the block as expired to continue editing on BLP articles, despite the BLP ban imposed back in March 2015. After days of conversation, and slight suspicion, Rebecca in her uncanny wisdom trips herself up and quacks like a duck. Self-admittance from Rebecca via a different IP. She has also threatened to block evade again via multiple IPs.

Tuxipedia, first made contact here, and later slipped up using her IP address in these string of edits. The IP address, the conversations held, and the admittance from Rebecca herself is clear indication of block evasion, sockpuppeteering, and abusing multiple IP addresses in order to continue her block evading antics. This user is becoming highly problematic, and serious action needs to be taken to put an end to her chaotic ways once and for all. She is wasting everyone's time. Wes Mouse Talk 11:47, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sincere apologies to Tuxipedia (talk · contribs) for falsely accusing you of being Rebecca. The suspicion arose when a conversation took place on another users talk page, in regards to Junior Eurovision, which was further engaged by an IP, who was talking in the same manner and context as yourself. It has later come to light that the IP address and yourself are two separate individuals. This is the sly way in which Rebecca works, and jumped onto a conversation you had started, and in her words made it look like you was her. Anyway, she has been blocked again. Although from her own admittance, she will be back again via a new IP address. Wes Mouse Talk 11:28, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm Tuxipedia, and I'm in no way affiliated with Rebecca or any of her infamous accounts. Anybody who inspects my contributions history can be sure that I've only taken interest in the Eurovision Song Contest since late 2016, despite edits dating back in 2013, unlike Rebecca whose edits riddle nearly every Eurovision page on Wikipedia from years ago.

The evidence presented against me is frustrating as I simply raised a question on a talk page and received a response to which I did not respond merely because I was satisfied. I don't think I could convince anybody that I were Rebecca, even if I tried. No hard feelings Wesley Mouse, but you've got the wrong bloke. --Tuxipedia (talk) 20:53, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Wesley Mouse: I've read your latest comments, and honestly, it's no big deal. I'm just glad it was resolved with civility and sincerity. I can understand the suspicion, and am very well aware of your past attempts to keep Rebecca from vandalizing Wikipedia articles. While it came as a surprise to me to hear that she shared my writing style, I am nevertheless open to receiving feedback on my style of writing. Please remember that I still hold you in high regard for your efforts and am not prepared to let one awry sockpuppet investigation deter me from collaborating with you or asking you for feedback. Keep fighting the good fight, and I hope that Wikipedia continues to become a better place because of it. For the sake of humour, I should probably point out that this is the first time I've been accused of being female. That's always an interesting start to the day. --Tuxipedia (talk) 21:29, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is a clear quack. Rebecca has used multiple IPs since her indef block example 1 which is cause for concern an now WP:LTA. Using an different IP, she also attempted to change WP:MUSICBIO. Wes Wolf Talk 16:23, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The IP edits the Junior Eurovision Song Contest articles predominantly, just like RebeccaTheAwesomeXD. The IP has the same geolocation as the last IP to be blocked as RebeccaTheAwesomeXD, 100.11.59.119 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). They also have similar edit summaries on the target pages of interest. Compare this and this of RebeccaTheAwesomeXd to this and this of the IP. — Tuxipεdia(talk) 06:19, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
