Prince-au-Léogâne created articles under the titles Joél "J-Pimp" Filsaime, Joél Célestin Filsaime, and Prince-au-Léogâne (FLAG). These articles were deleted, but in them AKAs for this person were Prince-au-Léogâne and ThaPimpOfThaSouth. The newer ThaPimpOfThaSouth was trying to create articles about D-Ploy Records, the alleged record label of ThaPimpOfThaSouth and Prince-au-Léogâne. It would appear that ThaPimpOfThaSouth was being used to circumvent the current 72 hour block imposed upon Prince-au-Léogâne. EricSerge (talk) 00:19, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alleged sockpuppeteer wrote articles about a certain rapper, and was eventually blocked. JFilsaime then created same articles about said rapper, with lots of nonesense about being a self-proclaimed royal prince. IP began removing speedy tag. IP also only began editing same articles of alleged sockpuppeteer. Singularity42 (talk) 02:38, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article J Pimp about a non-notable rapper (no information about any gold album at the RIAA database) which was created by Jason Prince has exactly the same content as the one that was deleted after Prince-au-Léogâne wrote it. Looks a lot like block evasion. De728631 (talk) 21:46, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  1. String of sock accounts exposed in short period of time, likely building a sockfarm.
  2. Socking occurs around narrow topic, repeated vandalism and disruption through re-creation of page over and over again, with different name variants.
  3. Checkuser technical investigation requested, in order to: (1) Find other sleeper sock accounts, and (2) Apply a rangeblock for the underlying IPs.

  • I have little to add, except that I thank Cirt for their efforts in cleaning this Augean stable. No doubt more will come along. Can we filter out J-Pimp and Leogane, or have it set off some sort of alarm bell? Drmies (talk) 02:49, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More activity from this blocked user, reposting the same material again. Submitting for checkuser in case they may have created other sleeper accounts and/or recreated other deleted material at the same time as the recent article creation. -- The Anome (talk) 11:47, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk note: BlaqBery recreated an article that was more or less identical to others created by the master. The article has since been deleted. Either way, both the IP and the sock are blocked, so not much else to do here. but I'm endorsing for a checkuser to find sleepers. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 11:56, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recreating category originally created by sockmaster. Of the two articles added, one was created by another sock. Many of these socks have usernames that are Florida-related. There's a history of nests with this one, so a Checkuser would be useful. Singularity42 (talk) 17:04, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty obvious based on edit history that this is the sockmaster logged off. I was willing to let it slide (as the edits were mostly harmless - just formatting the article created by the socks which will soon be deleted, adding articles to the category made by the sock that isn't controversial, etc.). But is now editing one of the block socks' userpage to indicate it is an administrator. That's pretty disruptive behaviour for a blocked sockmaster to do while logged off. this new user asked at Wikipedia talk:Administrators' noticeboard#Need help creating article: (J-Pimp) why he wasn't able to create an article at this salted title. Still at it. The sockmaster's main IP is being used to dispute the deletion of the articles created by the sockmaster), vandalize the AfD page for the articles created by the sockmaster, and vandalize the sockpuppet category. This is all typical behaviour of the socks in this case. Requesting a lengthier block of the IP. • It's possible, based upon past IP geolocations and contributions. As the IP hasn't made an edit for 4-5 days, I don't think a block is needed right now. The user seems to hop to different IPs, so blocking it might unintentionally affect someone else. Mike VTalk 00:34, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
