IP edit here claims that the two editors are different people but I am highly sceptical. For what's it worth, I am unsure if blocking these account(s) will have any impact, as the majority of the vandalism has occurred from a multitude of IPs (see the edit histories of Matthew Lowton and Jack Cork for a sample) and I suspect that would simply continue..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 13:33, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also noticed 84.9.230.13 doing a bit of trolling as well (Matt Lowton → Jonathan Field) and using fake signatures on this talk page where the IP renamed myself from "Swan" to "Pig" and listing myself an enemy of the user who owns the talk page. Also restored massive move request to trigger the RMCDBot (that failed thanks to the eagle-eyed page watcher).

I would like to suggest a rangeblock on the above ranges, which include a total of 2048 IP addresses. Mike Matthews is the only person who has used these ranges since 2019.   • Unfortunately, these addresses are but a small part of the Vodafone UK dynamic address pool, and any block has only a small chance of stopping the user further vandalising. @HighInBC You've more familiar with this case than I am, so I'll leave it to you, but if you were to re-block them as a sock, I'll add the appropriate tag and we can take this off the CU queue. Username follows a first name, surname and number pattern. Editing made to Swansea City and Cardiff City were both restored to versions made by the previously blocked Theresa3Wachowski42 and Ron3Carlsen17 respectively, both mentioned accounts in this evidence are named similar to the two suspected socks to this sock master without a 3 in those cases. In addition, this account is similar to Alice Thompson134 and Nicole Davies164 in the way all those accounts are named after a female name, random surname and a three digit number. I am convinced by username alone that these accounts are linked from the same sockmaster as has done in most other cases, see categories above. That mass move request was signed to make it appear that it had been User:Iggy the Swan's edit, which may have helped it survive more prompt deletion. Sounds like a good plan. My signature has also been used by the vandal in other places as well (e.g. this one) which was allowed to stay live long enough for that discussion to be archived and also at WT:Footy as well, example.   • The Theresa3Wachowski42 account is already glocked, blocking the account on en.wiki does not make any difference, per Global locks on meta, they can't log into any Wikipedia at all therefore unable to make any further edits. Might be related to "Johannnes891993" who impersonated Johannnes89 and recently the master creates more than one account to disrupt on different sets of articles.   • Moving to Mike Matthews17 per CU comment's and the filer's statement that that's where he meant to file. Per discussion at User_talk:Iggy_the_Swan#Talk:Nathaniel_Phillips, it would appear, according to Johannnes89, that both Spuds (Scarecrow being the first one) appear to be related to "Stephen Carlsen64", yet User:Spud the Wikipedian claims that user is not naughty, begins with an IP address of 46 and did not know what happened with Spud the Scarecrow. Not sure what was on Robby.is.on's mind when reverting one of Spud's edits. And on this section, it appears that Spud denys themselves being Mike Matthews17 though Johannnes89 and I might have been in mutual disagreement in the content seen.
