User:Sattari Malda created Sattari,_Malda. User Sattari Malda user page redirects to that article. User:Jiam Momin redirect to Jiam Momin, both of which have been created by Sattari Malda. Finally article, Jiam Momin, states, "Welcome to my user page. Hi, I m Jiam Momin I m a student of class (xi) at Sattari High School from Sattari Malda.I like social media & I like edit Wikipedia." Not only is this likely sockpuppetting, but also a fundamental misunderstanding of how Wikipedia (user) articles function. 1, 2, 3. While looking at the account that was checked, I saw two more:
I don't think I'm supposed to add them to "suspected" after a CU has already ruled. However, those two accounts have substantially similar contributions to multiple pages, see for example Bareilly Sharif Dargah, Binodpur Gram Panchayat. information Administrator note Okay, these are the only three I can find for now. The re-creation of Patharchapuri Dargah Sharif with the same content as a previous sock and the extensive editing of pages previously created by socks like Sattari_Jame_Mosque is pretty damning. Another user account was kind enough to present themselves on my talk page. JMcreation (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki) The lack of any substantial prior history, the interest in multiple articles that they never contributed to (user has 0 deleted contribs), and the username (I wonder what JM stands for) made me decide to block. I probably should have opened a new check for JRhistory and RJ3492 earlier, but I didn't realize that they'd be back so soon. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:
  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
