Suspected sockpuppets


This diff. Accounts have very similar username, and Hasdiehasnan22 made edits to Hasdie hasnan userpage. The accounts don't seem to have done anything disruptive. However, I'm reporting this here in case more is discovered, or if there is more to this that I did not see. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 17:03, 5 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Admin action needed - His first account is Hasdie (talk · contribs) which has no edits (created on 11 June 2013). Suspected sockpuppets[edit]


Continued attempts at self-promotion. Hasdiehasnan2212 was the creator of the version of Hasdie Hasnan which was deleted at AfD. Vevoartistasean recreated the article in the form of userspace drafts. Vevoasean1 created Draft:Hasdie Hasnan, repeatedly resubmitted it to the point of tendentiousness (draft was eventually deleted at MfD), and more recently tried to repost the content to the AfD page. Datohussin popped up today to resume pleading his case. --Finngall talk 14:20, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bearcat originally protected the page. Following spotting attempts to reinsert article material on old AfD pages, I've been engaging with the latest sock, not realising he is a sock. His replies were sufficiently shifty that I disengaged and left a message in the protection log for any future admin who might consider unprotecting, although I didn't mention any socking as unaware until now. --Dweller (talk) Become old fashioned! 14:36, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to add that the version that was posted by Vevoasean1 to overwrite the AFD discussion was written in the first person I/me — and Datohussin's attempt, just one week later, is based on the strategy of trying to get the mainspace title unprotected without actually showing the content they want to post by creating a sandbox or draft version first.     I know it becomes difficult to create a draft when the draft has been protected, but I've been dealing with Hasnan's terrible articles and drafts for entirely too long. After it got nixed at MFD and then recreated salting seemed like a good idea. If someone can show me a half-decent sandbox draft that isn't full of suck I'm happy to unsalt the draft title and move it there. Primefac (talk) 05:07, 16 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is a slam dunk. H2P studios is linked to this guy, as per this. The writing style of that account is very reminiscent of this. Moreover, here, the other guy essentially admits to being the master by writing an article in first person. All blocked and tagged, closing. GABgab 22:52, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
