David3d11 pops up to add an incorrect movie poster minutes after Beachwithz is blocked for doing the same. clpo13(talk) 05:41, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've adding a few more, since this looks like it might be a slightly longer-term problem. 2.138.113.119 shows a similar fixation with fussing with the AIV report as both above socks, as well as the recent Junglebook film. Also overlapping is List of unproduced Disney animated shorts and feature films, which leads to Tanglededits (blocked), who reverted another IP from the same area, and Edits201 (was blocked), who similarly blanks sourced sections on recent Disney films, particularly Tangled. Seems likely there could be more. Grayfell (talk) 06:05, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edits201 is the oldest account. Beachwithz, David3d11, and Filmsfanstars are obviously the same based on behavior at The Jungle Book (2016 film) (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). Tangled (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) connects Edits201 and Tanglededits. — JJMC89(T·C) 06:48, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Vanjagenije: The only unblocked named account is Edits201. That editor repeatedly removed comments about a sequel to Tangled on the talk page (one example out of many). This is part of a pattern at the talk page by many IPs that started in November.[1] Tanglededits (already blocked) is similarly focused on blanking info about Tangled and its hypothetical sequels.[2][3] Several of these accounts also like to remove their own content: Edits201, Tanglededits, IP. • @Grayfell and JJMC89:  Additional information needed. In order to facilitate and expedite your request, please provide diffs to support your case. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:
  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
  3. In situations where it is not immediately obvious from the diffs what the characteristic behaviour is, a short explanation must be provided. Around one sentence is enough for this. Vanjagenije (talk) 15:25, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WP:DUCK. Same behavior as before with the film poster. clpo13(talk) 06:03, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This user, Good day edits 30 (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki), seems to be a sock as well. Same behavior with the Jungle Book poster changing. κατάσταση 17:08, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lately there's been a crazy amount of disruption to Disney film and related articles (Especially Tangled, Ice Age, Frozen, Kung Fu Panda, Etc.) from what I truly believe to be puppets of Edits201. DayLight24 seems to be the only unblocked account, though it does appear to be abandoned. Its username is very similar to another suspected sockpuppet, User:Dayslight32 and though it never engaged in such blatant vandalism like other socks, it made several hoax edits involving potential sequel movies to articles like List of unproduced Disney animated shorts and feature films. Sro23 (talk) 03:53, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I believe the following accounts are all the same person: DayLight24, User:Rapunzel29: sequel false information vandalism; User:SpaceComet2016: inserts the same false info, later vandalism; User:Sunofgoodedits sequel hoaxing then later vandalism; User:Dayslight32: Disney sequel hoax, vandalism, and User:Edits201: sequel edit, goes on vandalism rampage later. I believe Edits201 is still currently active, as a recent sock has admitted to being Edits201 here. So I think User:DayLight24 is Edits201 mainly because of the similar username to Daylights32 and the shared interest in the same topic of fake sequel movies; compare SpaceComet2016's identical edit to DayLight24's edit. Already blocked for socking by Zzyzx11. - Yellow Dingo (talk) 03:42, 17 August 2016 (UTC) [reply]

I know this most recent sock has already been taken care of, but there's been so much disruption by this user especially lately. If an underlying IP could possibly be blocked, I think that would be great. Sro23 (talk) 03:44, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I agree Sro23. I've being following this recent spout of socking closely and they seem to be good at getting around blocks so a IP range block would be great. - Yellow Dingo (talk) 03:46, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Within the past hour, I have {{pp-sock}} the articles Roy Conli and Byron Howard, as it appears he has been attacking those pages recently. Zzyzx11 (talk) 03:50, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Take a look at the deletion history of Tangled 2! and Tangled 2: The Return. All these deletions were due to this editor. Probably all the deletions from Tangled 2 were created by this user as well. - Yellow Dingo (talk) 03:54, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The editor has now moved on to talk pages. To be honest it's pretty annoying that Signebot signs their post, therefore I cannot mass revert all of his edits. Dat GuyTalkContribs 07:08, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
