Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

No idea if this is the same person but they become active just two days after the master was blocked and created Manya Singh which look very similar to the one created by Dtt1 earlier please see this revision of Draft:Manya Singh. GSS 💬 19:29, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Within 2-3 months of Dtt's block, Suryabeej pops up with an obviously not new account, creating a fully formatted AFD within the first 10 or so edits and a completely custom sig with the same drop shadow as Dtt1's.

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

This involves some xwiki evidence, so my apologies in advance (and the fact you may have to take my word for some of it.)

Dtt was blocked at the end of Feb 2021, Surya was created May 1 2021. Like Dtt, both share an interest on their userpages in BLM (and my userpage, for that matter.)

They have very similar signatures and I find it strange that a new user (Suryabeej) was able to so easily create such a difficult signature. Dtt1's sig Suryabeej's sig, which is a different color but similar font and back shadow.


Both Surya and Dtt1 created massive amounts of word for word machine translated articles from enwiki to hiwiki. They also recreated Vivek Verma, word for word on hiwki.

Surya also got started at ANI and AFD within their first 50 edits, more than aware of previous discussions. Dtt1 and Owlf also had some spats, which Suryabeej appeared to continue when they (rightfully, despite being an obvious sock) nominated Prakash Neupane for deletion.

  • I'm sorry, but I don't see enough evidence here to take action, and I'm guessing after two months, neither does anyone else. None of the similarities seem that distinctive, and the new evidence regarding edit summaries is entirely script-related or common words/phrases. If evidence for something has been presented, it's that Suryabeej is likely not on their first account, and may have some sort of COI with respect to Vivek Verma; this close without action should not be construed as a rejection of any COI/UPE allegations. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 19:40, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
