Keep. The target is a page that serves to disambiguate, even if it is not, in the narrow policy sense, a disambiguation page. I don't think editors should go out of their way to create redirs like this to SIAs, but they don't need to be deleted either. Keep - target is a SIA, which is a nigh-meaningless distinction to most people. Heck, I'm a wikipedian, I love learning about the minutia of the backend of how we do decision making processes here, and it took me well more than an afternoon to figure out what exactly the difference was, even after reading the explanation pages about it. @Anthony2016: I'm curious - do you think people will actually be searching on THIS phrase? (either this one or the corrected one) The main point of redirects is to help people find articles based on things they would search for, such as points buried in articles, or misspellings. Do you think enough people would search on this to need a redirect? To my defense we do make redirects from lyrics so people do search words in a row like this, and Ozzie10aaaa approved the redirect before I told them to uncheck it because of my mistake. But if half the people think it's a bad redirect I will try not to make any more this long, or at least wont recreate this one without the mistake. Added a synonym section to the taxobox at the target article. As far as I can tell from when I researched it when creating said redirect, the lapsus calami of rubripinnis orignated with Lowe, 1970 (or at least the 76 edition of his book listed above, confirmed with a physical copy of the 76 edition). You need to provide a source for synonyms listed in the speciesbox, please don't just add them without providing a citation with the |synonyms_ref parameter. For future reference, redirects for misspellings of synonyms that are not recognised by any scientific authority (ie. not validly published binomials in their own right) should be categorised with Template:R from misspelling and Template:R avoided double redirect, not simply Template:R from alternative scientific name. Is the subject specific topic of cannabis primary over the generic meaning of being edible? It might be as its not clear how countable the generic meaning is but I'm not sure. The cannabis article uses the plural form lots but the current target doesn't contain the plural form so it looks like retargeting makes sense. I actually think so, for the plural form specifically. Something can be generically edible or inedible, as an adjective, and it has a generic meaning. But "edible" as a noun, which it is here (indicated by being in the plural form, which is only for nouns)? That means cannabis has been added to a food item. "This is edible" means it is food, you can eat it. "This is an edible" means it's got cannabis in it. Fieari (talk) 04:51, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Keep the name is sourced in the article and it being all lower case (save for the first letter which always has to be upcased) seems like a reasonable enough capitalization to not be implausible. NPC Miles Morales should also be created. I did find a source (Yahoo) that indicates he is retiring the NPC persona, but I don't think that's reason enough to delete.
