Target page used to have a section on PinkStats malware but the malware is no longer mentioned on the page so the redirect is redundant and should be deleted. D1551D3N7 (talk) 14:18, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

procedural renomination on behalf of the creator and nom, as the nomination was malformed. between us, i recommend just using twinkle for xfd purposes consarn (speak evil) (see evil) 14:01, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah you relisted it, here it was before[1] maybe I put it in the wrong place or something, but yeah I gotta make a new one with the correct words. Anthony2106 (talk) 14:04, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
it wasn't in the wrong place, some links and stuff were missing, so xdfc (another handy tool 'round these parts) wouldn't work properly consarn (speak evil) (see evil) 14:06, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
until then...
i'm pretty sure i'm forgetting another detail, but it's probably not important consarn (speak evil) (see evil) 14:04, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Anthony2016: I'm curious - do you think people will actually be searching on THIS phrase? (either this one or the corrected one) The main point of redirects is to help people find articles based on things they would search for, such as points buried in articles, or misspellings. Do you think enough people would search on this to need a redirect? I'm just asking because it doesn't seem like the kind of thing I would bother with a redirect for... but I could be completely wrong. - Dyork (talk) 14:36, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Dyork lol wrong ping consarn (speak evil) (see evil) 14:40, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
To my defense we do make redirects from lyrics so people do search words in a row like this, and Ozzie10aaaa approved the redirect before I told them to uncheck it because of my mistake. But if half the people think it's a bad redirect I will try not to make any more this long, or at least wont recreate this one without the mistake. Many things abbreviate this way; the movie channel doesn't seem anywhere near the primary topic (first few pages of google results are a wide assortment of non-notable hotels, companies, etc) Rusalkii (talk) 08:35, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

From what I can see, the title is the father of Syed Babar Ali, the current target. Internal search shows that Syed Maratib Ali is the father of three people having articles, Syed Babar Ali, Syed Amjad Ali, Syed Wajid Ali. This should be deleted until an article for him is created as it causes confusion ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 08:07, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Cannabis edible with a hatnote to Edible. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 06:42, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Retargeted from Cannabis edibles by Plantdrew in 2016. The plural form arguably is most often used to refer to the weed definition. Sdkbtalk 03:01, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Was unsure of the situation at first, but sure. CheeseyHead (talk) 06:39, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support retarget with hatnote, in my mind the PTOPIC is to the cannabis definition. Ca talk to me! 07:33, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is the subject specific topic of cannabis primary over the generic meaning of being edible? It might be as its not clear how countable the generic meaning is but I'm not sure. The cannabis article uses the plural form lots but the current target doesn't contain the plural form so it looks like retargeting makes sense. Crouch, Swale (talk) 23:41, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I actually think so, for the plural form specifically. Something can be generically edible or inedible, as an adjective, and it has a generic meaning. But "edible" as a noun, which it is here (indicated by being in the plural form, which is only for nouns)? That means cannabis has been added to a food item. "This is edible" means it is food, you can eat it. "This is an edible" means it's got cannabis in it. Fieari (talk) 04:51, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
OK weak retarget per above. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:25, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yeah, per User:Ca - retarget with a hatnote. It's primarily associated with weed - Alison talk 22:50, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Retarget, add a hatnote, mostly used in the stated context when a plural. -Samoht27 (talk) 19:06, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The Center of India Tower seems to be a different construction from the India Tower planned in an entirely different city, though all sources are so terrible my first attempt to nom this got eaten by the spam blacklist and I had to format this manually. At present, NPC Miles Morales does not redirect to Malik Ambersley. As such, it doesn't make sense for this redirect with multiple capitalization errors to redirect there. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 00:10, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep the name is sourced in the article and it being all lower case (save for the first letter which always has to be upcased) seems like a reasonable enough capitalization to not be implausible. NPC Miles Morales should also be created. I did find a source (Yahoo) that indicates he is retiring the NPC persona, but I don't think that's reason enough to delete. Casablanca 🪨(T) 00:25, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as it seems entirely likely that people would search on this name (in whatever capitalization). - Dyork (talk) 02:40, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - This is not a case of multiple capitalization errors, this is just being all in lower case, as wikipedia automatically capitalizes the first letter of all articles. Fieari (talk) 23:33, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
