- Roland Burris Burial Site → Oak Woods Cemetery#Roland Burris tomb (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
The relevant section has since been removed, and the burial site is only linked from Roland Burris and a see-also at Burris. We could logically redirect this to Roland Burris, but we'd then realistically need to remove those incoming links as circular and redundant, respectively. Better, I think, to delete this, and recreate it later if the situation warrants (presumably not before his actual death). BDD (talk) 15:13, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- Retarget to Roland Burris#Personal life and education: I actually prefer this option, where the structure is discussed/described. Seems fairly unambiguous; certainly, can't think of anything else a reader might be looking for. Easy enough to remove the outdated links. It's a shame this redirect isn't decapitalised i.e. Roland Burris burial site or perhaps even Roland Burris mausoleum might have been more apt. 78.149.135.163 (talk) 23:52, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- It might be capitalized intentionally, if it's an official name. If it's not, that makes it an even less likely search term. --BDD (talk) 18:23, 30 August 2024 (UTC)

- Weak keep: not unreasonable for someone who is learning English to mix up the sounds in a somewhat complicated word; it seems to get pageviews. Cremastra (talk) 16:59, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

- Keep - A somewhat rare but non-implausible misspelling/typo/mishearing/misremembering of the word. Linguistically, misplacing the middle "m" sound is a very easy mistake to make, so it's less that fingers slipped and more that the tongue slips, or the mind slips, moving the sound around, and then they type what they say/hear in their head. It gets a dozen or so hits a year, so it's useful to someone, and WP:CHEAP applies. Fieari (talk) 23:51, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Keep per both above. Plausible, used and harmless. Thryduulf (talk) 11:52, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

Redirect not mentioned at target. Off the top of my head this is some youtuber who makes jokes like this. Whether he is notable enough to be mentioned on it, I don't know, but as it stands no reason to redirect. PARAKANYAA (talk) 20:51, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Delete - This looks like a plain example of a vanity redirect. You know the expression, "If you look up **** in the dictionary (on wikipedia), you'll see a picture of (thing rhetorically being associated strongly with ****)"... someone is trying to make sort of thing actually happen for this guy. We shouldn't oblige. Fieari (talk) 06:17, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
- As the person who made the redirect, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Why are you accusing me of creating the redirect out of vanity? I simply created it because I thought the character was notable and well known enough to be a viable search term on Wikipedia. gangplank galleon (talk) 09:45, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
- If he was a notable youtuber, the solution would be to make an article for him, not redirect to an article about the sort of thing he does... you may not have intended it as vanity, but the end result is indistinguishable from it. I don't think he's going to meet the notability standards though: see the project YouTube essay on youtuber notability here. Under the assumption he's not a notable youtuber, and we have no mentions of him on wikipedia, then the only solution is to delete. Fieari (talk) 00:00, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

Based on the capitalizations used, these are not likely or useful redirects (WP:RCAPS). Note that these were all created by the same user, and there were a lot more, but they've been R3 tagged (no spaces between commas and words, punctuation at the end, etc., perhaps these should have been R3 tagged as well). Hey man im josh (talk) 14:10, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Delete all - recently created. If these were older ones I would have reconsidered. I wouldn't mind some of these in proper case. However, R3 is for typos and misnomers, and these are neither. Jay 💬 14:30, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah that's kind of where I struggle @Jay. I don't think all caps are necessarily R3 eligible, but I have seen some people process similar ones. It just didn't feel right for me to R3 all of these though because it doesn't fit the description of the criteria, even if it's applied slightly differently in practice sometimes. Not mentioned at the target. Hey man im josh (talk) 13:29, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Delete. It looks like the purpose of this and several other book redirects to the same target is for them to show up under Category:Regnery Publishing books, but then clicking on them brings us to the publisher's article that doesn't have a list or a collection of their best books. "Double digest" is better known for being a marketing term used by Archie Comics than as a synonym for restriction digest. In fact, the current redirect target does not mention "double digest". Kinopiko talk 00:34, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Delete in favour of search results. Someone searching "double digest" intending to find additional information on this type of restriction digest won't be served well by this redirect. Though by DDG search results, at least, I wouldn't say that the use by Archie Comics is more well known/widespread.
