The result of the discussion was retarget to Haley (surname). Hey man im josh (talk) 19:08, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think that while this very much can refer to the character in the novel at the target, Haley (surname) I think could potentially be a different target. Maybe Mr. Haley (character) can target to Uncle Tom's Cabin#Plot. TartarTorte 18:15, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WP:UNNATURAL title with out-of-place capitals and period at the end. Fixed via move. No incoming links. Utopes (talk / cont) 08:17, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per... weird new age capitalization. To me, this looks like a copy-paste search someone had issues with. Improperly proper nouned Seven Chakras doesn't seem that unnatural. Unless it's hiding other appropriate search results deletion loses more than it potentially gains. - Darker Dreams (talk) 16:27, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A rather confusing case. The target is an article that, to the best of my knowledge, has been unrefenced since 2009. This particular title is not mentioned in the article's current state; although, it is unclear what the name of the page should be, and whether or not a redirect should even be present. (In regards to the name similarity, both of these titles are one letter off from each other. But when dealing with radio stations, there is a plethora of possibilities that are one letter off, generally speaking). Utopes (talk / cont) 03:34, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This station could once have been DWKI because the Philippines uses DW and DZ call sign prefixes on Luzon. (See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (broadcasting)/Call sign appendix, whose Philippines section was informed by material I received directly from the NTC.) I lack the country-specific knowledge and am pinging WayKurat, whom I trust for PH broadcasting topics. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 06:59, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The station's official callsign is DWKI, not DZKI according to this document requested from NTC via FOI in 2018. Apparently, the creator of the redirect (User:DexterXBen10) did not bother to move the original article and created a redirect instead. -WayKurat (talk) 08:18, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In that event, delete. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 21:46, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@WayKurat: Are you saying the article currently at title "DZKI-TV" should be at "DWKI-TV"? Jay 💬 18:01, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A single remedy of a past arbitration case is an overly specific topic for such a redirect. While it has no incoming links and I also feel as if editors can have several reasons for linking to "Wikipedia:Binding", there is some identifiable topics, e.g. WP:Arbitration, WP:Consensus#Consensus can change ("No binding decisions"), and WP:Binding content discussions. What about disambiguating between these three pages? Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 14:04, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just delete it. As you say it has no incoming links - it never caught on. PhilKnight (talk) 18:46, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: Per PhilKnight. While not eligible for WP:G7 as the nom has suggested DAB'ing instead of deletion; it seems with very low usage this could be safely deleted without needing to be DAB'd. TartarTorte 13:58, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to be a Fire Emblem redirect, which exists only in the franchise as a sword that was used (by a character based on Lancelot?). In any case, it is not mentioned at the target article. There is a mention at List of fictional swords, however no other entry on that page has a redirect of its own. Utopes (talk / cont) 08:55, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect has history, but it was a BLAR to remove un-validated AI-generation and targeted an article that does not mention this subject at all, making this a confusing redirect in its current state. Utopes (talk / cont) 08:47, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - This one is a bit tricky. Yes, the article creator was indef blocked for a long history of problematic article creations. Wikiproject consensus was to get rid of all from a recent batch because they were extremely sloppy AI creations he refused to stop creating or improve on his own. So it's very correct for it to not exist as an article. As for the redirect, Moby Games seems to indicate that this company made this game, vaguely suggesting that the redirect is valid. But consensus is that MG is acceptable as "Further Reading", but not as a source, so that doesn't help us with adding a sourced mention in the article. And it's a relatively obscure, old game, so I'm not sure how easy it'll be to find a source. I'm torn between finding a valid way to retain it, or just deleting it. Just not restoring the article. Sergecross73 msg me 13:09, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Per WP:REDLINK. In the unlikely event someone actually makes the article, the game is notable, but it has no use as a redirect and arguably discourages article creation. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 11:57, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not against deletion, but I really don't think we have to worry about whether or not we're discouraging article creation here. The article creator specialized in obscure, old, and honestly - inconsequential - games. Part of the issue with his problematic creations, in addition to the fact that he wouldn't go back and clean them up, was that no one else would either, because no one had any knowledge or interest in editing them. I don't see an article coming. Sergecross73 msg me 17:26, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Appears to be a nonsensical name for the target, a Google search also doesn't reveal any other possible meaning. Fork99 (talk) 08:15, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. "kilometro" and "kilómetro" mean "kilometre" in various languages (not including any with particular affinity to France), and so there are quite a lot of results that mention the two terms but not with this capitalisation, and this redirect is literally the only occurrence Google knows about for the exact phrase. I was unsure what this string of words even meant in regards to the target. Parsing through the iMDB listing, apparently it is the working title of the movie for its Thailand release, which is not mentioned at the target article nor does there seem to be a reason to include Thailand's movie title for the article about the Spanish film on the English wiki. Improper disambiguator. The correct way to go about this would be either "Apparel Group, UAE" if no disambiguation, or alternatively: "Apparel Group (UAE)". If we take out the (UAE) from the title, we're left with just the Apparel Group and an extra comma, making this WP:UNNATURAL. The version without the comma already exists at Apparel Group (UAE).
