Only one Drias, so I cannot find any other article links associated with "All pages with titles containing Drias", nor are there any indication that it is a mispelling of "Dryas". Seventyfiveyears (talk) 21:42, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

  • Keep. It seems to me that having both spellings link to the disambiguation page could be helpful considering the confusion that two transliterations could cause. One could make an argument that G14 applies if the second spelling is ignored, but I think both spellings should be considered here. The hatnote on Drias linking to the disambiguation is certainly helpful, but I see no harm in keeping the Drias (disambiguation) redirect as well. ―NK1406 talkcontribs 16:33, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: Plausible transliteration for any of the entries on the dab page. I'd support moving Drias back to Drias, Kavala. – Uanfala (talk) 18:40, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Uanfala, the village in Kavala, Greece is the only page named "Drias" that has an article. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 18:16, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Schools in Durg[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 20:19, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: Recently created. It is not customary to have "Schools in [place]" redirect to [[:Category:Schools in [place]]].

Note that the category Category:Schools in Durg is also recently created and it contains just one school for now. I'm not nominating it for deletion just yet, but in a month or two I may suggest merging it with its "parent" category, Category:Schools in Chhattisgarh. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:13, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. --BDD (talk) 20:17, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong spelling, the band's name is "Pain of Salvation". See also the cover: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5c/On_the_Two_Deaths_of_Pain_of_Salvation.jpg --- Binho24 (talk) 14:05, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per WP:RFD#KEEP, item four. The article was at this title for years until the nominator moved it a week ago. There's no sense in breaking external links to the page. - Eureka Lott 17:58, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Eureka Lott. Even if this wasn't an {{R from move}} then it would still be a very plausible {{R from modification}}. Thryduulf (talk) 18:19, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per the wisdom above. ―NK1406 talkcontribs 16:35, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thina[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was disambiguate. Thanks to the IP for drafting. --BDD (talk) 20:13, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could also be a romanisation of Θῖνα, Ancient Greek for China. See names of China. Soumya-8974 (he) talk contribs subpages 12:12, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. This is a plausible redirect or a mispelling of "Thīna", so I don't see a reason to delete this. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 14:08, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I want dabification, not deleting. --Soumya-8974 (he) talk contribs subpages 14:55, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Google results are a mix of non-notable people with this first name and the current target. China does not appear in the search results, and I'm not even sure it merits a hatnote - a redirect from the romanisation of Ancient Greek to an article related to China would almost certainly be deleted per WP:RFOREIGN. Thryduulf (talk) 18:24, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • We have an article about Thina Thorleifsen, so disambiguation may be in order. As Thryduulf points out, though, the target suggested by the nominator is a dubious choice. - Eureka Lott 20:07, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Unless she was known as just "Thina" then I don't think a dab is viable for just a single spelling with a diacritic and a single partial title match. If we had content about the name and/or could present a list of notable people with the name then yes page would be justified, but with just one person the most we need is a hatnote. Thryduulf (talk) 02:36, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
the target suggested by the nominator is a dubious choice I didn't suggest to retarget this nominee to names of China. I suggested to dabify the redirect as now drafted by 61.239.39.90. --Soumya-8974 (he) talk contribs subpages 06:26, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate (drafted) per nominator. The Malayalam name for foxtail millet [1][2] and the ancient Greek name for China [3] meet both MOS:DABMENTION and the MOS:DABOTHERLANG term has been at least partially adopted into English or is used by specialists tests and so are suitable dab entries. One other MOS:DABRL topic which shows up prominently in search results is the Thina River, a tributary of the Mzimvubu River (which its article says is one of the most important rivers in South Africa}. Meanwhile, I have to go like three pages into my Google Books results before I get a reference to the current target [4], which suggests it's not the WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT.61.239.39.90 (talk) 04:07, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • I've got no objection to a separate disambiguation page, but almost all my google results are related to Buddhism or non-notable people. This combined with ease of access (not WP:DIACRITICS says to use {{R to diacritics}} redirects) mean that I still consider the current target to be the most useful and my recommendation to keep stands. Thryduulf (talk) 13:02, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate per nom and IP – no clear primary topic. – Uanfala (talk) 18:29, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget. --BDD (talk) 20:10, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

At this capitalisation, this should target Brain trust which uses the term and explains its etymology. Brain trust should have a hatnote to The Brains Trust, and the hatnote at that latter article should be deleted. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:32, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. It's nice when a relisting question is definitively answered. -- Tavix (talk) 15:04, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what the best target is, but this seems to be excessively vague for the current target. I don't think this is the primary topic for "openly". Hog Farm Bacon 23:15, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Openness (or delete). Unexpected, can not refer to 'being out' without other modifiers. – Thjarkur (talk) 11:05, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. "Openly" is ambiguous and this redirect may cause confusion. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:34, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete -- Binho24 (talk) 14:12, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete confusing one, too ambiguous. Less Unless (talk) 16:28, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete The redirect is too confusing due to it having a different definition of the ACTUAL word (Something that has no concealment, deception, or prevarication which can be created Frankly or Honestly) --StaleGuy22 (talk) 20:22, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete there are several articles that begin with "openly" but no article that makes sense to be a target for just the word "openly." ―NK1406 talkcontribs 16:42, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
