An album by this name did not get confirmed by AJR. This redirect should be deleted. CountyCountry (talk) 00:00, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per WP:CRYSTAL. While the article does detail this as the title of one of these singles to be part of an album along with "Bang!", it hasn't been confirmed as the title of the album. At least until that album's official title is released, I think we can just do without this thing. Regards, SONIC678 00:15, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. These were created by an editor on one day, a few weeks after the target pages were created. It seems doubtful that they were ever used. I am not aware of any others like them, and I did not find any Rcat template that is applicable, which itself suggests that there is no category of usefulness here. – Fayenatic London 16:02, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as housekeeping and unapproved format for titling individual episode articles. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:43, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - "Unused" is not a reason for deletion. Article naming policy is not relevant as we are not discussing article titles but redirects. These are unambiguous and quite clearly go to the target a would-be searcher is looking for so I think definitely keep. A7V2 (talk) 22:15, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
These aren't the names of boxset videos or of series that have a Series X Episode Y titling though. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 23:03, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
(In case it wasn't obvious, I'm taking "series" and "season" to be synonyms as that's how I would interpret it, but maybe in other countries they aren't synonyms in this context?). If what you're saying is the case then I'm sure you'll be removing that information from the infoboxes in the articles then? Being an unusual but not unreasonable way to refer to a topic is exactly what redirects are for. If someone searches for these terms, why should we not take them to the pages they were clearly looking for? A7V2 (talk) 05:17, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Those redirects are mentioned at the episode page, so I don't see a valid reason to delete. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 19:30, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mahajana Party[edit]

The result of the discussion was move Mahajana Party (disambiguation) over the first, keep the second. --BDD (talk) 20:44, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like there have been multiple parties that could plausibly be referred to as Mahajana parties, and 2 in Sri Lanka alone (Sri Lanka Mahajana Pakshaya, Lanka Mahajana Sabha, Mahajana Socialist Party). These redirects should probably be disambiguated together, although it's possible that one of them is the primary topic. signed, Rosguill talk 18:47, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sri Lanka Mahajana Party should redirect to Sri Lanka Mahajana Pakshaya and Mahajana Party should become a disambig for all 3 parties. (Kommune12 (talk) 06:41, 14 November 2020 (UTC)). --> }} Kommune12 (talk) 06:41, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This seems reasonable, in which case there should probably be a hatnote at Sri Lanka Mahajana Party pointing to Lanka Mahajana Sabha signed, Rosguill talk 22:34, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target, a Scholar search suggests that this is most commonly an abbreviation for Cortisol. I would suggest either deletion or retargeting to Cortisol, depending on whether evidence can be provided as to this also referring to Consul. signed, Rosguill talk 18:35, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unused CNRs JsfasdF252 (talk) 05:37, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As I said when I created these: "picture" is much more of a common synonym to "image". If anything "photo" should not redirect to "image" but to... guess what: "photo"! In other words, I noted that a) there were no image-requested-redirects involving the natural phrase "Picture", and that something like {{Requested photo}} redirects unintuitively. From there I just added all the redirects (so we don't have a situation were "X requested" is blue while "Requested X" is red). If you want to go back to a less logical and incomplete set of redirects I can't stop you. CapnZapp (talk) 11:08, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@CapnZapp: Why on Earth are these redirects in the mainspace? Picture requested and Requested picture are not encyclopedic topics. ― Tartan357 Talk 11:40, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As JsfasdF252 correctly points out, these are cross-namespace redirects. They send readers from the mainspace to the template namespace, and should be deleted per reason #6 at WP:R#DELETE. ― Tartan357 Talk 11:46, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Normally I don't view misspellings as harmful redirects, but this seems to cross the line of plausibility for me. Hog Farm Bacon 04:04, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The subject is now president of the Pittsburgh City Council (which wasn't the case when this redirect was created) and is likely notable per WP:NPOL and WP:BASIC. The current target provides no information about Kail-Smith aside from the office she holds and when her term began. There are more pages linking here now that she is president; it would be beneficial to delete the redirect to allow WP:REDLINKS to encourage article creation. ― Tartan357 Talk 02:26, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
