Previous RfDs for this redirect and similar redirects:

Delete per WP:FORRED. Best I can tell this is just a dodgy translation from Russian and Google hits mostly refer to what looks like a Korean restaurant in Vladivostok. Not linked anywhere, not mentioned in target, no significant usage; seems pretty obscure at best and more likely to confuse than help. I don't find the argument presented in the last discussion particuarly convincing. PC78 (talk) 21:21, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

C45H57NO16 was created by mistake: formula of Larotaxel is C45H53NO14. I have not found molecule in enWiki with formula C45H57NO16. I propose to delete it. (C45H53NO14 is in the list of redirs to create by bot so I didn't create it manually.) Gyimhu (talk) 20:36, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unlikely misspellings, could cause confusion with Carol Shields. I would suggest deletion signed, Rosguill talk 19:05, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete both. I can find little indication that the actor was known by either "alternative spelling", especially the second one (with a K). Alternatively, weak regarget to Carol Shields for the first one (with a C) as an R from misspelling. PC78 (talk) 20:02, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

While the semantic link is clear, "Iberosphere" does not appear to be consistently used to refer to the Spanish Empire. A Google Scholar search primarily returns references to a publication titled "Iberosphere". I would thus suggest that this should be a WP:REDLINK signed, Rosguill talk 18:54, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Virtually no usage history, not a real word, all usage online appears to be limited to knockoff dictionaries with empty placeholder entires like this one. Note that in the context of a QWERTY keyboard, QWERTY is an adjective, and thus does not have a plural form. signed, Rosguill talk 17:58, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah but googling it http://google.com/search?q=qwerties will give you results for qwerty. Barracuda41 (talk) 19:52, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

+ (programming)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to + (disambiguation). --BDD (talk) 20:08, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know that this is an appropriate redirect. +'s can have many other meanings in various programming languages, and as someone who writes code for their day job, I can't say that string concatenation is the first thing the jumps to mind when I think about + in programming contexts. signed, Rosguill talk 17:31, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Disambiguate An example or two would be appreciated. I'm not a programming polyglot, so other than numerical addition, only unary use as an alias for numerical identity comes to my mind. Paradoctor (talk) 17:54, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It depends on the programming language (in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if there are languages where string1 + string2 does not perform concatenation), but off the top of my head, + can be used in Python for array concatenation (which isn't currently covered at Concatenation), for matrix addition in some modules, and in regex + is a special character that means "match previous item at least once". Simple addition is also significant: depending on what kind of programs you're writing, you may use + for addition more often than for concatenation (even if you're working with strings, as you may need to do arithmetic to find the correct indices). There's also ++ in many languages, which means +=1. signed, Rosguill talk 20:13, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think that this is an acceptable solution. signed, Rosguill talk 22:19, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to + (disambiguation). Per WP:INCDAB, If a term with a parenthetical disambiguator is still ambiguous, we don't create a separate disambiguation page for it, it should redirect back to the main disambiguation page. Appropriate WP:DABMENTION entries can be added there. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 15:08, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Double parenthetical with two version of the groups name and a missing space to boot. Trivial page history, no links from mainspace, minimal page views. Not a natural title or a useful redirect. PC78 (talk) 16:37, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Looks like this was created to make way for another version of the same article; page history is largely trivial, no incoming links, minimal page views. Not a useful redirect. PC78 (talk) 16:18, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget Redirect makes no sense, no mention of the/a cocktail at Chennai. G1 could in theory apply, happy for someone to speedy. Nosebagbear (talk) 13:42, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Зенитная Самоходная Установка: - I'm confused. If it's like that, why not direct to the Cape Codder cocktail rather than the city Chennai? Nosebagbear (talk) 13:59, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Cape Codder (cocktail) where this is mentioned; assume the current target is a mistake unless the creator can explain. PC78 (talk) 16:41, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Clarifying nom - I'm happy to go for redirect to Cape Codder (cocktail) if that was what was being intended. I see the creator has (attempted) to change it. The result of the discussion was no consensus. -- Tavix (talk) 21:42, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FORRED from an approximation of Serbian Cyrillic using latin letters. This is even sillier than the typical Cyrillic approximations because Serbian has an official Latin alphabet. Note also that neither srWiki nor shWiki have a redirect at Capajebo. signed, Rosguill talk 18:38, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: "Silly" may not be a technical term, but is certainly the most appropriate term. The only situation I could imagine for someone looking up for "Capajebo" is upon seeing a T-shirt with "САРАЈЕВО" in all-caps (these shirt do really exist!) without recognizing it is written in Cyrillic. Sufficient for a redirect? Don't think so. –Austronesier (talk) 19:27, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. "Silly" is really all it is. Surtsicna (talk) 21:01, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep and tag per Barracuda41. Can't expect everyone to understand intricacies of Cyrillic and avoiding the pitfall of incorrectly just substituting the Latin letter that looks the most similar. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 06:04, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The "silliness" means we don't have to worry about ambiguity, but if the letters are exact matches for corresponding Cyrillic, why not? --BDD (talk) 19:43, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't find any mention of "2020", "Twenty Twenty" or for that matter even just one "Twenty" in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rosguill (talkcontribs) 20:55, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect creator is currently temp-banned but has directed me on their talk page to look at this website detailing the 2020 project. Based on the content of the site, the Aston Martin Twenty Twenty is a soon-to-be-released car based on the model DB7. However, I think it's potentially misleading to redirect readers to the article about the DB7, as it doesn't currently clarify anything about the 2020 model. I think redirecting to Aston Martin or one of the list of cars articles for that brand is a better target at this time. signed, Rosguill talk 00:25, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Sonic the Fighters. This could just as easily be one of those decisions I call no consensus but default to retarget since no one wants them kept as is—it's just not a very meaningful distinction with this discussion. --BDD (talk) 19:31, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target page. Steel1943 (talk) 16:23, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - Before anyone suggests it, he should not be listed at the character list either - the inclusion criteria requires two substantial game appearances, and he only has one, and he’s been stuck at that status for decades. He is mentioned at that singular game - Sonic the Fighters though. I’m indifferent on whether it’s worth retargeting - it’s a rare one-off character from one of the less popular entries in the series, so I wouldn’t expect it to be doing much either way. Sergecross73 msg me 16:34, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
...And just in case, pinging Sergecross73 since I just discovered this edit on Bean the Dynamite (in case they aren't watching this page). Maybe retargeting these redirects is the way to go? Steel1943 (talk) 17:30, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Oh wow, forgot I did that years back. Yeah same logic applies to a few of these one-off characters from that game. Yeah I’d support retargeting. Sergecross73 msg me 17:53, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
