The result of the discussion was speedy delete per WP:CSD#G7. Thryduulf (talk) 09:34, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

CFJW-FM exists as it's own radio station, that does not have a repeater with the callsign CFJW-FM-3. There's no way CFJW-FM-3 would be searched by someone looking for CJFW-FM, which is where this redirect goes. Vanstrat ((🗼)) 21:59, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, as creator. Given the transposition of letters (CFJW vs CJFW), I'm pretty confident this is a very old typo on my part, as CJFW-FM-3 does exist. Mlaffs (talk) 02:31, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FORRED, no affinity for German Plantdrew (talk) 19:49, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't know what "no affinity for German" is supposed to mean. The little mussel has plenty of affinity for German, given how many German recipes there are for it. I blame the relatively low number of hits on global warming. Seriously, what's the problem here? Drmies (talk) 00:07, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Drmies: the WP:FORRED guideline states that for foregin language redirects to be useful there needs to be a significant connection between the language of the redirect (German in this case) and the target, such that an English speaker is likely to encounter the foreign-language term and want to search for information about it in English. This is (for some reason) often abbreviated to "affinity" in RfD nominations. Thryduulf (talk) 09:39, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • Oh, Thryduulf, thanks--well in that case I also disagree, since I think that the term has huge affinity for German. Drmies (talk) 01:02, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per WP:FORRED. My best way of explaining this that we don't have redirects from non-English languages to other animals such as Chicken, Cat, Dog, etc. Steel1943 (talk) 16:35, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete I suppose I could be convinced of the utility of this, assuming some line was added to Mussel a la Belgium, France, etc. List_of_German_dishes only lists one thing with mussels, and de:Miesmuscheln and related articles (e.g., de:Kategorie:Speise aus Fischen, Krusten- oder Schalentieren) don't suggest there's a particularly German aspect to the family. ~ Amory (utc) 15:53, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Implausible typo (mixing French and English), wrong target (there are other Palais du Peuple), and would probably not be very useful even if redirected to current dab page People's Palace. Place Clichy (talk) 10:18, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

More common than "msuic", but still not a plausible typo. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 00:47, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete It IS a plausible typo, I should know because I made it. -Americanfreedom (talk) 03:27, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment: Americanfreedom, just to confirm, are you arguing for delete? I'm confused because your argument sounds like an argument for keep. - Vanstrat ((🗼)) 04:57, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • Comment: Vanstrat, Looking back on that I do realize now that my vote was kind of vague, sorry about that. It was a typo I made and I initially voted delete because that's been my go-to strategy whenever I accidentally botch a redirect. Anyway, now that I think about it I'm undecided on the matter. On one hand, If I could make that typo, then anyone could make that typo and then it becomes far more plausible. On the other hand, If I'm wrong and I am one of only a handful of people that would make that mistake then I wouldn't object to it's deletion. I'm changing my vote to Undecided.
