The result of the discussion was disambiguate. ~ Amory (utc) 01:08, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This was merged to current redirect target in 2006, based on the fact that there was a UK TV documentary program that was apparently produced at the University of Salford (e.g. Old revision of Hitting Home), but the University of Salford article now makes no mention of this. Also, if these doc's "have won more than a dozen Royal Television Society awards", it would seem like the subject is independently notable and merits an article. An additional issue is that Hitting Home (documentary series), about an Australian TV series, also exists and should possibly reside at the base title if the UK series does not. So, discussion is needed to resolve this... --IJBall (contribstalk) 18:04, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think Hitting Home (documentary series) should be moved to this title. I can't find any indication that the Salford documentary series is notable, or even an independent source that could be used to support a mention of the series in the university's article (it doesn't seem to have been sourced at all from when it was merged in March 2006 until it was removed in November 2007). The claim that "Since the 1990s, Salford documentaries have won more than a dozen Royal Television Society awards" seems like puffery that carefully avoids claiming that the Hitting Home series actually won any awards itself. Note that Obsessed (1987 film) is also known as Hitting Home – I think a hatnote is sufficient to cover that though. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 19:51, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate Channel M mentions Hitting Home several times as a regular programme put out by University of Salford, also found another song of that title. If the documentary series has primary topic, then you can make this a disambiguation, but I don't see that for now. Creating dab entries. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:42, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate as proposed. feminist (talk) 07:21, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate as per AngusWOOF; enough entries for a dab, if Hitting Home the documentary series is considered PTOPIC an RM can sort that out. Galobtter (pingó mió) 13:00, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. St Barnabas Church of England Primary School should be dealt with elsewhere ~ Amory (utc) 01:08, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm nominating this on behalf of User:BrightOrion, who tagged the redirect but did not list it at RfD. They argued that "A school in a district shouldn't redirect to that district. It's a minor part of that district. Also, its stopping searches to other schools called St Barnabas." – Arms & Hearts (talk) 11:38, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what this means, if it means anything at all or how it has anything to do with the target. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 05:56, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. --Garam (talk) 09:44, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete not used in any sources to refer to the target. These look like WP:OR attempts at translating the name of the province ("two rivers") into Greek; yet another example of the mass amounts of of nonsense that got the creator indef-blocked. Dipotamia, Kastoria is a real place, mentioned at Akrites, Kastoria, but think it's better to WP:REDLINK it to encourage creation of an actual article. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 11:15, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both per 59.149 – not used in the target, and unlikely that they've ever been used to refer to the topic. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 19:27, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete for redlink purposes and unlikely spelling. It could go to List of settlements in the Kastoria regional unit but that article has lots of redlinks. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 02:56, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nonsense and no reasonable justification. --DBigXray 21:49, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both per 59.149's findings --Lenticel (talk) 00:59, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
