Unused and novel/obscure template redirect. Presumably short for Talk Page Header, but since no-one has used it, it can't be a very obvious or useful synonym, and I see no reason to keep it in existence. As I have explained before, obscure template redirects get in the way of the important work of bots and scripts. — This, that and the other (talk) 10:44, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete per WP:CSD#G7. Thryduulf (talk) 17:07, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Requested in error (yesterday, by myself) at WP:AFC/R. Request should have been for CRP (ICAO code). 82.132.224.222 (talk) 10:11, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy delete as WP:CSD G7 and tagged as such. Though not directly created by the RFD nominator, he requested it so speedy deletion meets the underlying principle. The Whispering Wind (talk) 15:16, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Another one in a string of implausible search terms created by Dolovis; one of the very last picks in this draft, never played professional hockey, about as obscure as they come. Ravenswing 09:19, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - No WP:RFD#DELETE; mentioned at target. Dolovis (talk) 13:54, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. Fails NHOCKEY. Hwy43 (talk) 09:21, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as WP:CHEAP applies and none of the deletion criteria are met (not meeting WP:NHOCKEY is not a valid reason to delete a redirect)... it's an implausible search term but not harmful in any way I can see. I do think creating further redirects of this type should be discouraged but there's nothing to be gained by deleting this now it's here. Sideways713 (talk) 10:24, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • WP:NOHARM. Resolute 15:20, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
      • Per WP:RFD#HARMFUL, we should only delete harmful or very recent redirects. Similarly, that the subject of a redirect is not notable is not a valid reason to delete that redirect; actually, being notable would be a better reason to delete (per WP:RFD#DELETE point 10.) This is RfD, not AfD. Sideways713 (talk) 22:48, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
        • It is a recent redirect. Also, the fact that it is both an implausible search term and that there are multiple potential targets (1978 NHL Amateur Draft is of equivalent value, such as it is, not to mention 1978–79 St. Louis Blues season if it were properly filled out) are superior reasons to delete this redirect. Redirects may be cheap, but that is no justification for littering Wikipedia with pointless redirects. Resolute 23:16, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete No clear target, nn individual. Resolute 15:20, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Resolute. John Vandenberg (chat) 13:18, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 18:16, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Extremely implausible search term; after a few minutes search, it turns out that Bye wasn't in the top ten in scoring for this semi-pro team in a semi-pro league. Ravenswing 09:17, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thryduulf (talkcontribs) 17:17, 5 January 2014

Implausible search term; player was an otherwise non-notable *third* team all-star several years ago, played only briefly in the minor leagues, obvious connection with the article subject tenuous at best. Ravenswing 09:08, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Quick claim deed[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep. (NAC) Armbrust The Homunculus 08:07, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is no such thing as a Quick claim or a quick claim deed. The article on quitclaim deed specifically says this is a misnomer. Toddst1 (talk) 07:06, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tag as {{R from incorrect name}} per nomination. —rybec 08:05, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - a common misnomer, according to the target article. WilyD 08:49, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That it is common was unsourced and I could find no evidence that such misunderstanding of english is common or even another non-Wikipedia-based sourced that talked about it. Toddst1 (talk) 12:45, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep since the article states that the term is a misnomer. --Lenticel (talk) 04:20, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's been fixed. Toddst1 (talk) 12:44, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to BET#BET Home Entertainment. Seems uncontroversial. Contact me with concerns. --BDD (talk) 23:26, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

BET's home entertainment division isn't discussed at the target article, so this redirect is unhelpful. It's very likely someone searching for this topic already knows about BET, or at least how to find that article, so this should be deleted to encourage creation. BDD (talk) 00:48, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to BET#BET_Home_Entertainment, where I've added a sentence on the topic. —rybec 01:18, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
