Deletion of this redirect, as it causes confusion with Fox News (FNC) and the business programming thereon, e.g. Your World with Neil Cavuto. RVJ (talk) 14:33, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This needs to be changed, since tennis has men's singles too. Not sure what the best approach is. 124.168.91.7 (talk) 01:08, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete lots of sports have these things, badminton, tennis, singles artistic skating, etc. 76.65.128.132 (talk) 03:23, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as useless (unless some useful target can be found). Hope someone of these ~30 people per month comes here to explain their real target. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 22:45, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tempest (rock band)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Retarget to Tempest (band). Ruslik_Zero 18:26, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: Very confusing redirect becaues it points to the page of a musician where the word 'Tempest' does not appear at all. The term 'rock band' is also confusing because we have a different redirect called Tempest (band) that points to a current group who use rock elements in their music. 178.203.51.161 (talk) 08:18, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: see pre-existing article and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tempest (rock band) for how this happened to become a redirect to Graham Oliver. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 22:45, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment: The discussion does not appear to address the issues I originally raised and it appears outdated. Primarily, the band 'Tempest' is no longer even mentioned on Graham Oliver's page. As a person who has never heard of Graham Oliver until this redirect, I was incredibly confused stumbling upon this page for this very reason. I believe others must be as well. If the band does not even merit the notability of a single mention on Graham's page, then should it deserve a redirect? 178.203.51.161 (talk) 07:17, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete The AfD linked above had two votes of delete and one of redirect. That is not a consensus to redirect. Thus, we can delete it here. D O N D E groovily Talk to me 04:54, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • This is an issue of WP:NOTDEMOCRACY: deleting it had no sense. This reason still applies. Or would you prefer to re-create and delete this redirect every time someone adds or removes info about the band to the target article? — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 10:05, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
