Delete; looks like a joke redirect. ›mysid () 22:32, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • It's not a joke - it is an internet meme. A search on the phrase returns a number of reliable hits talking about this as a sarcastic response to the ALL CAPS "shouting" that started in 2004 or so.
Personally, I think we have far too much coverage of alleged "memes" in Wikipedia. I also note that the target article no longer has the content it used to about the CapsLock etiquette debates. That said, I'd rather see a redirect than another perma-stub article at this title and this particular meme has more sources than most. Rossami (talk) 13:02, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Rossami, possibly retargetted to Netiquette, which has a similar relevance and level of detail to All caps. Thryduulf (talk) 16:25, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Apparent nickname for PayPal, although I can't find anything serious that supports this and the user who created it has a a handful of edits (the last being in September 2008), so I'm nominating it for deletion. Paul MacDermott (talk)

  • Delete vague synonyms.--Lenticel (talk) 01:17, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete-There's a relevant Urban Dictionary page on the topic, but that's it, and that doesn't indicate very much. The only real use I see for this redirect is insulting/denigrating the target.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 23:19, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Retarrget to Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals). Ruslik_Zero 18:46, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

An old shortcut to an equally old page (Wikipedia:Index/Proposals and requests) which I boldly redirected to WP:EIW. The redirect as it stands is implausible and should be deleted. The question of incoming links from external sites is largely irrelevant for Wikipedia namespace shortcuts, especially little-used ones like this. — This, that, and the other (talk) 10:21, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Contrary to the nomination statement this is a well used redirect, and WP:EIW is the present location for the index of information of use to editors, which was formerly at Wikipedia:Index/Information. It's not misleading or harmful, and I don't know of a better target (WP:I redirects to Wikipedia:Introduction, but there is no subpage of that beginning with "I", WP:II is a redlink and I can't find any other obvious target). Thryduulf (talk) 17:12, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep-Not exactly the most used shortcut in the WP space, but I don't see any compelling reason to delete it.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 23:21, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Remove redirect of incorrect spelling of family name to eliminate confusion with another composer, Richard Hoffmann (born 1925). See disambiguation page here. Hrdinský 23:21, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete to encourage article creation from red link.--Lenticel (talk) 01:18, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • This looks like an ideal use of the redlink clause. Rossami (talk) 13:09, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete-Per above. A good example of when deleting a redirect to make room for a redlink is a good idea.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 23:23, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, per the above (basically WP:REDLINK). When we have articles about both composers they should be linked by {{distinguish}} hatnotes, not redirects. Thryduulf (talk) 23:56, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
