Delete. No "otome" article, subsection, or disambiguation exists or needs to exist. Bxj (talk) 12:44, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Kill[edit]

The result of the discussion was Withdrawn, Keep. Lenticel (talk) 00:06, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cross namespace redirect which makes no sense. Delete Doh5678 Talk 06:56, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawn due to realising technical issue. Doh5678 Talk 19:38, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, necessary byproduct due to technical restrictions, per below. Delete, confusing and, indeed, makes no sense. I have notified the creator of the redirect about this discussion.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 00:44, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, this is Project:Kill. Technical restrictions about naming prevent the article to have the correct name ("Project:" and "Wikipedia:" are the same namespace). —Кузьма討論 11:23, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Compare Help:A Day in the Life, another cross-space redirect caused by technical restrictions. I have tagged the Project:Kill redirect appropriately and noted the reason in the edit summary. —Кузьма討論 11:34, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh, I see what happened here. Project: Kill is the actual name of the film. I did not realise that Project: puts its a a Wikipedia space. Its a technical glitch. Keep Project: Kill Delete Wikipedia:Kill. Some technical guru is needed to bypass this as Project: Kill wrongly places it at Wikipedia:Kill. The article title should actually be Project: Kill♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:48, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is not possible to delete the Wikipedia: title, as Wikipedia: is an alias for the default Project: namespace. In this case however, WP:NCTR#Colons does allow for this redirect to exist. Edokter (talk) — 13:07, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep' per Кузьма. As far as I know, it is not possible to bypass namespace aliases or to disable a namspace for certain titles currently, even by a developer (and certainly not by anyone without such access). Adding this ability would require a modification to the MediaWiki code, for which you would need to make a request on bugzilla. Don't expect a quick response though. Thryduulf (talk) 17:19, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I believe this is a necessary navigation aid, due to technical issues. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 09:31, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Listing speedily closed. The deletion rationale is invalid (and apparently based upon a mistaken impression that merged templates are routinely deleted). Unless there is a specific reason to do otherwise (e.g. a problematic name), standard procedure is to redirect. —David Levy 03:10, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
