Page does not redirect to anything about FARC's "military strategy", and 2005 is the only year that such a page exists for ... Jrtayloriv (talk) 23:51, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as it serves no useful purpose and only exists as a remnant of an earlier version of the List of attacks attributed to FARC article that was unnecessarily restricted to the year 2005. Juancarlos2004 (talk) 00:30, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - and refine target to List of attacks attributed to FARC#2005. This redirect gets a steady flow of hits each month so it is not only a plausible search term but one that is used. The redirect fails the requirements of WP:RFD#DELETE. I appreciate that a 'list of attacks' is not a 'military strategy' but we don't need to be technically correct for a valid redirect. Also, I think that the revised target is sufficiently relevant to be helpful to a searcher. I don't see a good reason to delete. Bridgeplayer (talk) 01:31, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy keep as out of process. Nothing has changed since the last RFD was closed as no consensus just yesterday. This redirect did not arise from the renaming of a template but is the replacement of one template by another. RFD is not a substitute for normal deletion processes. If the underlying template is required to be deleted then it should be taken to WP:TFD. Bridgeplayer (talk) 22:08, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
