Frank Tieri (organized crime)Frank Tieri (mobster)[edit]

The result of the debate was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 17:48, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article, Frank Tieri, was recently made into a disambig page and the original article redirected to Frank Tieri (organized crime). However, according to consistancy and naming convention, the correct title should be Frank Tieri (mobster). MadMax 22:56, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. It wouldn't be useful as a search term anyways and was just made two weeks ago. --- RockMFR 23:52, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Corneles EssexCornelius Essex[edit]

The result of the debate was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 17:49, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect, Corneles Essex, is a typo of the article Cornelius Essex which I recently created MadMax 22:56, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Creator requests deletion. Unlikely typo. --- RockMFR 23:53, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

BushTalkTalk:Bush[edit]

The result of the debate was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 17:54, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I originally asked for speedy deletion under CSD R2, but the notice was removed because CamelCase redirects should be kept, so I am listing it here to see which rule should have precedence. To me, having "BushTalk" in the article namespace looks very confusing, and the benefit of removing it outweighs the potential compatibility with a link to another namespace. Schutz 17:26, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I'd be interested to see as well. This is the first I've run into a CamelCase redirect and from what the category page seems to say, it looks like it should be kept as is. But, I'm not entirely sure. Because of that ambiguity, that's why I removed the speedy deletion tag. Metros232 17:44, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The cross namespace CamelCase redirects do not need to be kept. There are only about twenty of them left - I'll probably get around to tagging all of them. --- RockMFR 18:20, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Let's wait until this RFD is closed, and I'll be happy to tag them afterwards if needed. Schutz 18:25, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete cross namespace-- it could come up when hitting Special:Random. Dar-Ape 20:42, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

    • Comment Uhh...what? Metros232 05:13, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
      • The Talk:Bush looks like a forum, possibly generating people's comments in a short period of time. I believe Wikipedia is not a forum. Tonytypoon 05:31, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
        • ....you DO understand that Talk:Bush is a talk page for the article Bush, right? Metros232 05:33, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
          • Looks like "talk about president Bush", since "Bush" is a surname. Tonytypoon 05:46, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
            • Tony, look, it's a talk page to discuss the article. Just like there's Talk:Chin Wee Loon where you went to plead your case for us to not delete your article several times over. That's what a talk page is, they're not meant to be forums, they're meant to be places to discuss the article as has happened at [{Talk:Bush]] where there's been discussions about the best way to redirect the page and disambiguate it. Do you understand this? It's not a forum or a social network, it's a hub to discuss the article. Metros232 05:56, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was Deleted. The "noes" usage is not listed at suggested Wikitionary entry so soft-redirect not appropriate. -- JLaTondre 17:52, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

CSD-R1. The phrase is not listed on the target page. It has been rv'ed due to insufficient citation, and appears not to be a specific "Internet" slang term. David Spalding (  ) 16:29, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy-delete as the one below (I'd say per CSD R2, although R2 provides for redirects to User space from main space, but this one looks quite clear).
