Mindless Apr 1 joke not belonging here; Wikipedia is serious and this is taking up space on the RfA page. I recommend speedy delete. Rcsprinter (gas) @ 09:22, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep: This is nowhere near main space, not being read by anyone but Wikipedia editors. We're allowed humor. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:28, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep we have no shortage of space on the RFA page and a long tradition of April fools there, of which this is but one example. ϢereSpielChequers 09:30, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ha ha. Well I doubt it. But after what we've seen over the last couple of months inside en.wp, it's nice to see people acting foolishly for a reason, rather than just for the sake of it. Stalwart111 12:11, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • You owe me a new monitor. I was drinking, and as soon as I got to "it's nice to see people acting foolishly for a reason, rather than just for the sake of it"... laughter wasn't the only thing that escaped. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:28, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge with Preston Passion to help ensure User: Example's future. DocTree (ʞlɐʇ·cont) Join WER 11:36, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Good grief - this one is actually funny. The other two are dumb. The key here is to LIMIT the jokes on April Fools Day, not have 10 joke MFDs, 10 joke AFDs, and 10 joke RFAs. --B (talk) 12:55, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and close this MfD. Firstly I agree with B. Secondly, this is an actual example RfA that was turned into an April fools deletion of this would immediately turn into un deletion as happened twice today. At the end of today, about midnight, just revert all edits back into the usual format or separate the histories (is this possible?). John F. Lewis (talk) 13:34, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Pretty sure it's possible to separate the histories. I'll consult a histmerge expert when the clock strikes 12:01. Now can someone please SNOW close this (and the other two MFDs), before the joke is entirely dead? If those of you in the humorless section want something useful to do, CAT:CSD needs some love (I've got a two-hour old G11 request), and I can think of at least one redlink that should probably be turned blue. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 13:59, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yes it can be done. Splitting is easy; merging not always so easy. Soap 15:29, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
