The result of the debate was Keep per WP:SNOW. Keeper ǀ 76 17:53, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Delete per WP:USER. I don't mean offense by this or wish to sound crass, but subpage guidelines state that the material in them should follow the same guidelines as those of the talk or userpages. This includes excessive personal information - ie a memorial page. Wiki is not a personal website. -- Ave Caesar (talk) 11:57, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - It looks like an archived user talk page entitled "Isaäc's Memorial Page". The memorial conveys why he didn't edit Wikipedia for a period (a valid use for a user page) and only secondarily includes some memorial information to Isaäc. -- Suntag (talk) 16:55, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Keep appropriate use of Wikipedia in this instance. DGG (talk) 20:31, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - This page is relevant to the user's editing history, and a perfectly appropriate use of user space. Reyk YO! 23:09, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Keep The majority of this page is talk comments posted by Wikipedians. WP:USER states that archives of user talk, which concern Wikipedia, are permitted. This content guideline can be extended to the page in question. Lazulilasher (talk) 23:49, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Keep per Lazulilasher. And just in case anyone hasn't heard, see the note at the top of this page. MookieZ (talk) 03:29, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Speedy keep - Good god. It's a memorial page for a respected and terribly missed Wikipedian who endured a tragedy, one which he shared with us, then tragically passed himself. What on this forsaken green earth would we want to delete it for? Jennavecia (Talk) 17:48, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. I agree. I wonder why it came on the radar for Ave Caesar to nominate anyway. Clearly not a good idea. Mike H. Fierce! 17:50, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
