File has an unknown date, but was probably taken in late 1940's. Therefore, the URAA restored US copyright, therefore the file is a copyright violation in the US, so can not be hosted on Wikipedia or Commons as a PD file. --Mdann52talk to me! 07:47, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is not listed as a free file as it is in Category:All non-free media (not Category:All free media). All non-free files need a fair use rationale, so I have nominated the file for deletion for lacking one. Both public domain templates demand that you know that the year of first publication, but the year of first publication is unknown, so there is no evidence that any of the templates is correct, and the file may therefore also be unfree in the source country. --Stefan2 (talk) 10:09, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On user:Codename Lisa's Talk page here User:TLSuda said I needed to reduce the resolution for copyright reasons in order to prevent it from being deleted, so it's frustrating that now I'm being told the resolution is too low. The original image was 2,022 × 773. User interface images are pretty standard fair for software pages, including GA/FA ones, and in this case the user interface of the software is itself the subject of discussion in the sources and in the article. Unclear if it is an Indian or a Pakistani photograph. If it is an Indian photograph, then this is unfree in the United States and can only be used under limited conditions.
