Original – The Roar of the Night by Gao Qifeng. One of the founders of the Lingnan School, which combined Chinese, Japanese, and western approaches to painting, Gao was particularly renowned for his depictions of tigers

Reason

Excellent example of the artist's style, highlighting the high levels of realism and the lighting techniques that he developed after studying Western and Japanese art.
