- Mê Linh Square (history · last edit · rewrite) too-close paraphrasing from https://saigoneer.com/saigon-heritage/6049-old-saigon-saigon%E2%80%99s-famous-streets-and-squares-me-linh-square. — Diannaa (talk) 23:07, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Diannaa: According to this, the similarity is 34.2% (< 40%) and was concluded to be "Violation Unlikely". I'm not sure what are you expecting though. The matching parts were French names with 4-5 words long, and very basic English phrases. Đại Việt quốc (talk) 00:33, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- We don't go by the percentage from Earwig's tool; it's only a rough guide. In my opinion it's too closeley paraphrased, presenting the same content with only minor alterations to the wording. — Diannaa (talk) 00:38, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Diannaa: Well, it is understandable that you can't rely on the percentage from Earwig's tool, but the tool does tell you what that matching parts are. Like I mentioned, the matching parts were French names with 4-5 words long, and very basic English phrases. And according to what I'm seeing, there is WP:LIMITED. That's the best I could paraphrase at least for now. I'll let the clerks decide then. Đại Việt quốc (talk) 00:50, 21 October 2023 (UTC)

- I recently double-checked and noticed that some of the information that this author wrote about the square during the French colonial period was incorrect, so I completely rewrote that paragraph at Talk:Mê Linh Square/Temp, and the perecentage in Earwig's tool was lowered to 15%, I hope that helped.
