- Thanks for noting the concern. The copyright holder has now released the material under GFDL and CC-BY-SA. 2009041310035969. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:41, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Jay Ruby (history · last edit) from http://astro.temple.edu/~ruby/ruby/. Ian Weller (talk) 14:23, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- According to Ticket:2009041410034682, the copyright holder does not wish to give permission under the GFDL. I have reverted to the last clean version. Stifle (talk) 13:59, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- Cecil Reginald Young (history · last edit) from http://www.bbm.org.uk/YoungCR.htm and http://battleofbritain1940.net/bobhsoc/index.html. Requested at Ticket:2009041110015798. There may be some sufficiently-reworded or non-infringing content. Stifle (talk) 18:44, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- There was minimal revision, but not enough to salvage, I'm afraid. :/ Massive pasting went all the way back to the inception. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:19, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Susan Kruck (history · last edit) from http://cob.jmu.edu/kruckse/. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:14, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yuri Kozyrev (history · last edit) from [1] - note that apparently the article was created by an intern from the organisation holding the copyright, but without a release... Dougweller (talk) 20:40, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- VTEC from Temple of VTEC. - not the entire article, but significant portions. Edits have been made to some of the text to sanitize it. 66.7.96.4 (talk) 22:41, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- As far as I can tell, infringement was introduced here. I've restored earlier material to replace that, left a note at the article's talk and at the contributor's page. Please relist with specific concerns if there are sections I've missed. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:10, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Maligawila (history · last edit) from [2]. Nomination completed by DumbBOT (talk) 23:12, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Definitely infringes. Article blanked, contributor advised. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:59, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Nagar Kirtan (history · last edit) from [3]. Nomination completed by DumbBOT (talk) 23:12, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- May be GFDL, but I haven't found an explicit release--just tantalizing hints that it's meant to be. Relisted and asked contributor for clarification. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:44, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Maungatautari Restoration Project (history · last edit) (url not detected). Nomination completed by DumbBOT (talk) 23:12, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Revised. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:37, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Bharigaan (history · last edit) (url not detected). Nomination completed by DumbBOT (talk) 23:12, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Tip of the iceberg. This one deleted, several others now blanked, contributor given a two week block (his second) for persistent infringement. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:02, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ron Haviv (history · last edit) from http://www.rethink-dispatches.com/author/ron-haviv/ Article creator is intern from magazine Dispatches. See Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#user:Dispatches_intern. Other more blatant articles speedied, but this one is a little less obvious so seeking second opinion. Mfield (Oi!) 23:58, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Lacking verification of permission, it is certainly too close a paraphrase for use; I agree. I've deleted it, but since the photographer is notable and since this is the third copyvio version of this article since 2007, I have created a new article clean. Maybe contributors will build on it without pasting. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:21, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Piracy in Somalia (history · last edit) from [4], at least. I removed one sentence that was more orless C&P, but the language in many of the sections is similarly "glossy" so it could use a few more eyes. See talk page for more. --SB_Johnny | talk 00:21, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- This one seems already to have been addressed at the talk. I'm just checking now to see who introduced the text in case there are other problems. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:42, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
