Fails WP:ENTERTAINER. The subject has a large body of work: however, his roles appear to be walk-on parts or as a background artist. I'm not convinced that any of the awards listed are significant enough to demonstrate notability. Looking at the edit history, I'm also concerned that the main editor may have a conflict of interests (he was he of only two editors to add any content to the recently-deleted page for a one-man play written and performed by the subject). ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 19:06, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep: He's got roles in at least three notable movies: Winchester, Predestination and The Death and Life of Otto Bloom. On each of those pages, he's listed somewhere around #8 in the cast -- supporting roles, but not walk-ons. -- Toughpigs (talk) 19:45, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep – For Toughpigs' rationale and he's also in Shakespeare in Love in Melbourne and it's gained national attention in Australia.[1][2] He also writes plays, which have been reviewed in various mainstream publications.[3][4][5][6] There's a lot out there if you know where to look. Missvain (talk) 00:14, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep There is broad and sustained coverage, including performance reviews and bio studies in major mainstream media publications, eg SMH and The Age. Aoziwe (talk) 03:51, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as per above arguments. The Drover's Wife (talk) 09:24, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete unless the article is properly referenced. The article is almost completely unreferenced. If good coverage of his work exists, it should be cited in the article. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:49, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NEXIST says that notability isn't determined by the quality of the article. If there is significant RS coverage, then the subject is notable, and the article should be improved, not deleted. -- Toughpigs (talk) 20:45, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep His career is very notable on stage, probably less so on screen, and he's won a Helpmann Award. Substantial coverage of Coppin in the context of his solo play Lyrebird: Tales of Helpmann easily seen by googling that and his name together. Lack of referencing is insufficient for deletion. Boneymau (talk) 20:08, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: Passes WP:GNG and WP:NACTOR. Some more sources—especially for his awards—would be good, though. Dflaw4 (talk) 14:43, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
