Keep. Clearly not a hoax; multiple national titles and long racing career, as covered in The Press newspaper between 1978 and 1988 at PapersPast. The Press is the only NZ newspaper currently with full online coverage from this period. Given that Tracey was from Auckland, and The Press is a Christchurch newspaper, it is safe to assume that there would be even fuller and more extensive coverage in the New Zealand Herald and Auckland Star newspapers during that period. Comment - I've struck my vote, now Neutral. The IndyStar article is good.
