schools may be notable, but this org doesnt have anything about it. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 01:37, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. See the coverage listed on the "Summit in the News" tab at http://www.summitps.org/ I have not seen the film Waiting for "Superman", but apparently there are references to the organization or its schools in it. http://www.avnetwork.com/entry/will-education-technology-finally-live-up-to-its-potential/755 offers some coverage of the organization towards the end of the article. I think that much of the coverage of the schools is implicitly coverage of the organization and its doctrines. I would argue that charter school operators are automatically notable on the same basis that high schools are: that is, that reliable sources about them must exist, even if they are hard to find. - Note. The name Summit Public Schools can also refer to a school district in Summit, New Jersey. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 12:51, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep - A charter school operator of multiple public high schools would seem to me to be necessarily notable; since every high school is notable, a business that operates multiple schools is going to be fairly important. It will certainly be the subject of numerous public records and documents, hearings, and so forth, that would provide a lot of resources, and likely significant media coverage as well. --Lquilter (talk) 17:28, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
